Our colleagues in China are already busy making bags for the Fall/Winter collection 🍁❄️ We're keeping the bags a secret for just a little while longer, so these photos are from earlier collections 🤭

Fun fact: over 40 people have worked on your bag! Everyone has their own task, and they switch roles regularly to stay focused.

And some serious talk: we have always been transparent about our way of working, because we are happy to say that our colleagues in China always work under fair trade conditions ✅ Everyone works max. 8 hours per day, has insurance, weekends + national holidays and vacation days, and the factory is a clean and safe environment with access to 3 warm meals per day. We believe that this should be the standard around the globe 🫶🌍

Our latest collection sold out in record time! For which we are very thankful 🫶🐦 That also results in messages of you lovely people asking where to still find a bird bag, and our answer is: at our sales points all over the world! Let's be honest, the latter is already the case most of the time 😅 Women's clothing have a huge lack of pockets, (why??) so we try to make functional and fashionable bags that supplement those!

Thank you so much for your responses on our previous post! We asked you what you would like to see us make and what features are absolute necessities, and you answered!

Mostly through Facebook and messenger, some told us they like colors purple, green, and teal. Other wishes were about size and shape. We are taking all of your ideas and putting them into our creative thinking machines 🧠

This particular photo shows an important part of our design process: choosing colors ✨️ These bits of material are swatches from color cards.

We are a sustainable company, so we try to use only eco materials that our fair factory has in stock already, as to not waste and overproduce. This calls for quite a bit of creative problem solving 🤓

While the days are getting sunnier here, we have been working hard on a new fall/winter collection 🤭 Almost finished!

We work in our office most of the time, so we try to make the most of these sunny days by eating our lunch outside. We enjoy our work very much, but those little rays of sunlight make our days even better!
