So ready to go here again. To feel inspired by the light, the mountains, the forest, the river, the ocean, the food . To listen to the incredible birds concerts in the morning, to look into the wide open space of the valley.

In a couple of weeks we will drive down here again with a full wagon stocked with beautiful design furniture from our shop. To prepare it for us and new opening of the summer season.

Shining in her simplicity and stillness

A calm bedroom immediately slows down the often over stimulated senses. Its the place to slow down, let go and sink into another world. Soft natural materials and colors are a perfect bases for that.

I like to add something which connects me to nature and pure beauty. A plant, some flowers, a piece of art. During the slow hours it inspires me in a very gentle way on a deeper level.

This kitchen is smaller then we used to have, though I love the intimate feeling it gives. The coziness when we sit around here as a family, when we cook, when we talk. It’s not completely in the style I would choose, but I can let go of this and just sit around and enjoy the atmosphere.

Sharing this white beauty on this rainy day. It took this 10 year old Kamerlinde (African h**p) a year to adjust at our new home. Now she is growing rapidly again, carrying winter flowers for the last couple of weeks.

Love the word pause. It allows you to completely surrender to doing nothing. To cherish the rest, to embrace the now. Knowing that one day the pause will come to an end, introducing a new chapter of a blanc page in need of a new story ✍️

• restore•

Slowly recovering from a week of serious illness. It’s that time of the year when the body needs more care nutrients and rest (and sun ☀️but that is out of our hands). Now living in my own small world I can follow the slow pace and small signes my body gives on the path to recovery.

Living with a chronical disease often means that normal flues, infections and other disrupters of the body balance can hit you pretty hard. I have often ignored this and carried on with my normal tasks as quick as possible. Being used to live with pain and body hinderance and the strong wish to make the best out of life. Now I choose differently, prioritizing my healing. Let’s see what this will bring.

I changed things around a little bit. Always touching and moving until the energy feels right again.

New days filled with sun, creating space and fire to pursuit our purpose. While I am in the midst of this process, this morning I will be in the shop for pick ups by customers. Plants and animals know perfectly well how to seize the seasons. They can’t change their behavior or mood, they just follow the natural proces of being. If we, humans, could do this a little bit more, life would be a lot easier and healthier for many of us.

One more week and then the doors of this shop will be closed. A new chapter will follow but this place made by all the wonderful people will definately be missed

A peaceful setting created a while back. While the shop is getting more emptier it’s still filled with beautiful pieces. It’s still such a joy to give them the attention and the space they deserve.
