The Eheim caninster filter started to give of a real bad noise this morning, fresh out of spare parts for a new impeller I just temporarily connected a JbL pump on the inlet. It’s 2000l/hrs and the other backup pumps was down in a cold basement. Easy choise and I think the L470 will enjoy the extra flow today…. I’ll probably keep it like this until the summer and replace the pump if this one gives off too much heat then, it’s only 35W so not the worst so maybe it’ll stay on….

This is the flow in my wild caught Hypancistrus sp. L174 breeding tank (80x40x25 cm)… They don’t seem to be very picky as long as they get quality food and clean water. #l174 #hypancistrus #madeinbergen
Finally some great news from the Hypancistrus sp. L470 tank. One of the F1 males from the three batches from winter 2018/19 is on eggs now. Not sure how many he has in the cave, I’ll probably empty it tomorrow morning or something…. Sorry for the bad quality…..
