Artist: Fracisco Munoz
Title: Metamorphosis 3
Medium: Pigment on canvas
Size: 149x103 cm
Edition: 1/1
Year: 2022

Artist bio: Metamorphosis occurs when the images are captured and then evolved through coloured mediums, which can be be reflected in any space and time.
Painting brings your own sense of time to the work.
My process is to make these mediums equal, creating a new landscape.
The crystalization that then occurs bestows a metamorphosized time and space on the image.

Francisco Munoz (born 1979) is a photographer based in Norway. Since he started he has created distinctive, colorful photographs that reflect his desire to see what he feels. Over the years he has created many of his own specially designed filters and light modifiers, and almost exclusively uses antique lenses on a medium format camera. His work has been awarded silver and gold at Gullsnitt, the Norwegian photography award.

Francisco’s early artistic influences came from Nikolai Astrup who painted the landscapes around Jølster where he grew up. He was drawn to the strong colors and the abstract way that light is shown in Astrup’s art.

Artist: AKACORLEONE
Title: PAYSAGE I
Medium: Limited edition digital print, Ultrachrome GS3 ink on 200gr satin paper
Size: 70 x 50 cm
Edition: 20, numbered and signed
Year: 2023

About the artist:

AKACORLEONE is Pedro Campiche (Lisbon, 1985), an identity of balanced exploration between analog and digital, defined by his use of color saturation and shapes, which are inspired by his personal universe, with every piece carrying a unique visual sensation.

Living with artistic creation from an early age, AKACORLEONE started with graffiti in the early 2000s, a base that would flow into other currents later on. In 2008 he takes his first steps in illustration and muralism and, in 2010, he presents his first gallery works defining, from the outset, a metamorphic aesthetic that more than a decade later remains characteristic of the projects he signs. Painting, installation and sculpture are currents that he has been absorbing in recent years .

The obsession with experimenting new materials and techniques has transformed the way AKACORLEONE thinks about his compositions; an approach focused on purpose, taking art as a vehicle to understand and humanize the environment, exploring it in all its forms. This dialogue between artist and work, past and future, has been developed through the use of bas relief, tiles or laser cutting, with acrylic, wood, cement or stone as the body.

Recognized for its multidisciplinarity and continuous search for new ways of presenting work, in EQUALITY (Festival Imininente, 2020), FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS (Underdogs, 2018) or FIND YOURSELF IN CHAOS (Underdogs, 2014) he expanded his artistic reach, carrying the intervention from the urban space to the gallery habitat more prolifically. AKACORLEONE presented his work in 14 countries, which earned him national and international acclaim.

They display an ethereal and translucent quality, which can take the viewer to another place and evoke a deep emotional response. Signed Offset Lithograf by Naomi King
Title: Friducha
Medium: Printing technique : Lithography offset
Size: 50x70 cm
Edition: 110 (This is one of three left)
Year: 2021

About the artist:

According to her Surinamese father, Naomi King could 'draw rather than chew chicken'. She grew up to be an avid cartoon enthusiast and comic reader, with the long-running indie comic Ellfquest by American couple Wendy and Richard Pini particularly appealing to her. As a child of two cultures, she was deeply touched by how the different elf tribes in the comic faced each other, and she immersed herself completely in this world. She grew into such an expert that when she was thirteen she was asked to translate the comic strip by Belgian publisher Arboris. However, due to her young age, she was not allowed to have a job yet, so the young super fan was 'paid' in comics.

She also drew comics herself, of course, and has never let that love drop. Years later, when she got an aerosol can pressed into her hands during a date, she didn't shy away from using the wall presented to her as a canvas. Working in public space felt like an ideal expression for her. “My father always says, 'Your talent is a gift.'” explains King. “And you also give a gift to someone else. Art is for everyone. If I can make other people happy with my brain farts and creations, that's a win-win.”

Her influences range from art nouveau to '80s cartoons and mix in a remarkably dynamic style full of splashing color. Naomi is an all-round illustrator, making both animations and street art pieces

Medium: Spraypaint and Posca on paper. Comes unframed and signed on verso.
Size: 15x16 cm
Edition: Original (1/1)
Year: 2024
Make it yours on www.artforgaza.com

About the artist:

Martin Whatson (b.1984) is a Norwegian street artist best known for his calligraphic scribbles in grayscale voids. Over the past decade, Martin has developed an unmistakable aesthetic combining abstract movement with figurative stencilled compositions. His works can be seen to mirror the rise and fall of the streets, as he symbolically recreates the urban environment, then vandalises it to reveal his vibrant transformations.

With as many works on walls as on canvas and paper, the relationship between vulnerability and strength remains constant in each work. Delicate and organic characters feature; butterflies, ballerinas and animals all rendered in empty grayscale space. Almost stylised, these minimal figures are constructed of a few layers of hand-cut stencils. The ashen tones of the compositions and vacant backgrounds are reminiscent of his alternative canvases, the concrete. True to form, no gray space stays gray for long in Martins presence. whether immersing entirely or embellishing a detail, the images disappear beneath expressive, spray-painted strokes of assorted colours and textures.

Martins work features with festivals, projects and walls globally. His original work can be found in private collections and institutions with solo exhibitions featured in cities from Tokyo to LA, London to New York.

About the artist:

Portuguese artist Wasted Rita (b. 1988) has been developing a critical and remarkably confessional practice that explores her love-hate relationship with life and the world. The self-styled “natural born agent provocateur” likes to think, write and draw, pouring forth little gems of sarcastic wisdom dipped in acid that reflect an unconventional upbringing in a Catholic school to the sound of Black Flag. Making use of a variety of media – including sculptural objects, installation, painting, drawing, and writing – her unique voice pours forth her mordant observations and poetic invectives on human behaviour and contemporary culture. Since 2011 she has been presenting her work in a variety of contexts, including solo and group exhibitions in galleries, institutions and art events in various countries, such as at idrawalot (Berlin, 2013), CAA – Centre for Art and Architecture Affairs (Guimarães, 2014), Underdogs Gallery (Lisbon, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019), Dismaland (Weston-super-Mare, 2015), Bien Urbain Festival (Besançon, 2016), Artgang Gallery (Montreal, 2016), Festival Iminente (Oeiras 2016, 2017; London, 2017; Lisbon, 2018; Lisbon, 2019), WTF gallery (Bangkok, 2017), MAAT – Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology (Lisbon, 2018; 2022), Outdoor Festival di Roma (Rome, 2018), Galerie Slika (Lyon, 2019), The Crystal Ship (Ostend, 2019), or Beyond the Streets (Southampton, New York, 2021), among many others. Title: “Pausa”
Medium: Pencil on paper
Size: 30x30cm
Edition: Original (1/1)
Year: 2019
Make this artwork yours on www.artforgaza.com

About the artist:

Paola Delfin is a Mexican artist whose work is mainly influenced by illustrations, organic forms and a mixture of unusual materials. Paola was born in Mexico City and remembers from the time she was very small, she always had a pencil and paper to help her visualize her own world through drawing. The topic she endeavors to explore relates to beauty and feminine sensibility. Through these female characteristics, Delfin is able to depict a vast range of incredible changes and contrasts where she attempts to give her work a life of its own.

By means of the meticulous use of illustration and verging on almost obsessive technique, she attempts to portray the creative aesthetic of her generation while also depicting a reflective message.

Her goal is to make her work available in all settings and to all audiences--with the intention that her work is by no means exclusive.

Her introduction to the world of street art happened both spontaneously and inevitably after realizing that the messages she was trying to emit would become trapped and misunderstood on a small template, therefore, she found that using large wall space was a perfect way to express herself.

Her mural work is a story of movement while meshing the empty space with fluid lines she explores the beauty and fragility of the feminine figure and also how strong its impact can be.

Paola Delfin lives and works in Mexico.
