Yesterday was a fun and productive day for us! We were in the studio at Noroff with Kasia on keys to record a solo piano version of Amelie’s Beautiful Colours. This version will most likely be released later in April, in celebration of the 1 year anniversary of Soulcrux’s first single! The talented Axel was helping us get the perfect takes, as he did last time we were here recording the vocals for our upcoming 3rd single. This shiny new single is planned for release around the beginning of May if the mixing gods (a.k.a. our mixing engineer, Peter) are kind! After recording the piano parts for the anniversary version of Amelie, Markus, Morgaine, and Toni did some more work on the live setup for guitars and bass. A busy but fun day all round! 🤘 And!! We’ll hopefully be back in the studio later this month to record the lead vocals for a 4th single. However our lead singer is nearing the end of her pregnancy, so it’s a race against time to find out which will arrive first…the baby or the mix for the 4th track? We’re currently taking bets! 😂
