The teaching at Norsk Taiji Senter stems from Yang style short form as developed by Professor Cheng Man Ching.
Professor Cheng was a master of the five excellences. He was the first and most influential master to teach Taiji (Tai Chi) in the West.

Johan Galtung was our senior advisor to Peace Point Foundation when we founded it in 2002. Supporting our Peace Conferences, Art of Peace Exhibitions and the Business of Peace at The Norwegian Nobel Institute steadily until 2010. His steadfast encouragement to continue with the path of nurturing peace from within through non violence continues to inspire our practice at NTS today.

Deep gratitude to all attendees for making the 40 years Jubilee celebrations so profoundly moving, towards searching for new perspectives on peace and regeneration at the Noble Norwegian Nobel Institute.
It was a beautiful experience with speakers, taiji practice and the clusters evolving into Deep Dao Dialogue’s.
Much appreciation towards our partner Welsh Centre for International Affairs headed by the bold and beautiful Bethan Sian Jones. We both set the scene reflecting on the success of our previous conference at the Welsh Temple of Peace and Health in Wales.
It was a day to remember as we concluded by walking to the Norsk Taiji Senter and opening of the exhibition on Chinese Writing.
