Fra Øst til Vest, ta en tur innom Cafe Sør. Vi åpnet i 1999 og holder til i Torggata 11, rett ved Youngstorget. Ferske, deilige kaker har vi også! Velkommen!
På dagtid tilbyr vi kaffe, med espresso fra Grünerløkka Kaffehus og et godt utvalg te. Vi har enkel matservering; sandwich/salat og varm suppe. På kveldstid byr vi på spennende smaksopplevelser på drinkfronten, vi serverer både klassiske og egenkomponerte cocktails. DJ hver kveld og en avslappet og uhøytidelig atmosfære. Cafe Sør har mange koselige kroker, gamle sofaer og forskjellige sittegrupper

Our Story
Vi åpnet i 1999 og holder til i Torggata 11, rett ved Youngstorget. På dagtid tilbyr vi alt slags kaffe og et godt variert utvalg av te. Vi har enkel matservering; sandwich/salat og varm suppe. Ferske, deilige kaker har vi også! På kveldstid byr vi på spennende smaksopplevelser på drinkfronten, vi serverer både klassiske og egenkomponerte cocktails. DJ hver kveld og en avslappet og uhøytidelig atmosfære.
Cafe Sør har mange koselige kroker, gamle sofaer og forskjellige sittegrupper. Høydeforskjeller og trapper, stemningslys, mursteinsvegger og mosaikkdetaljer. På veggene henger store malerier og mindre bilder.
DJ’en har plass ved siden av scenen, og det er store vinduer ut mot Torggata. Det skjer noe spennende nesten hver kveld!
Hver tirsdag har vi Latin-kveld og du kan danse til bl.a. salsa, kizomba og bachata.
Onsdager intar konseptet Rock the Mic scenen, en åpen scene for deg som har et talent å by på, med største fokus på Hip-Hop.
På torsdag er det igjen dansekveld, denne gangen mere sensuelle rytmer med Kizomba. Fredager og lørdager er det full klubbestemning, men vi avslutter uken med en herlig jam-session med husbandet vårt Shady Collective.

Café Sør (the name means Café South) is a relaxed café during day time, with a selection of coffees and teas, and various soft drinks. If you want a bite to eat, we serve fresh salads and tasty sandwiches, hot soup of the day, as well as delicious cakes and freshly baked croissants. At night Café Sør turns into one of Oslo’s vibrant cocktail bars, with emphasis on fresh berries and fruits. Every night, you find a Dj behind the turn-tables.
