Mountains of love in Corsica ❤️
Corsica is sometimes reffered to as a mountain in the sea, an island with hundreds of peaks rising out from the mediterranean. The tallest of them all, Monte Cinto (2 706m) gives you an unrivalled panoramic view of the island, the mediterranean, and even the mainland on clear days.

Summer break is coming to an end and we are finally back with our weekly running. Every Tuesday, we’ll meet up outside Norrøna House at Lysaker. The plan is to run the trails along Lysakereleven and explore our neighbourhood.

After the run we get our muscles burning with a short strength and stretch session. For those who want a refreshing start to the day, it's possible to end the session with a swim in the river. Bring your swimsuit!

We're excited to announce our running session in Boston together with our ambassador and physiotherapist, Hilary McCloy. This event is perfect for all levels – whether you're a seasoned runner or a complete beginner.

We will meet in Norrøna store in Boston, where Hilary will give you an insight to our trail running collection – Norrøna senja. Before we go out for the run you will have the chance to equip yourself with senja products to test during the run.

Elements festival ✨ Earlier this summer we took part in a unique festival with Sidetracked Magazine at Kudhva in Cornwall, UK.

Surfing, climbing, trail runs, bushcraft, open air cooking, wild swims & yoga. Followed by sociable evenings, filled with music, story telling, photography and film celebrating nature.

More than 90 people showed up to our second session with SALTY trailrunning last week. This session had a special focus on trail running technique with hill technique and drills before we went back to our warm store at Sendlinger Straße.

See you on September 11th for the 3rd session, where we head out to the real playground with shuttles to the Bavarian alps!⛰️

Say hello to Jeffrey Stern! 🇺🇸 Jeffrey is our new trail running ambassador from California. You'll get to know him better soon, but first we'd encourage you to follow him in the coming weeks as he takes on what he's dubbing his personal Quest for the Crest — racing two infamous and mountainous 100-mile races, just two weeks apart. Cascade Crest 100 on July 19th in Washington and the Angeles Crest 100 on August 3rd just outside Los Angeles.

"The challenge of the year is completed! What was supposed to be 32 km in fine weather turned out to be 34 km in pouring rain and gusts. I had nerves and expectations at the start in Laukvika, wearing my new favorite shorts from the Senja collection. The first peak, Matmora, had a steep ascent and harsh weather at the top. Running the trail in the clouds was amazing but a reminder to respect the weather and mountains. After a brief rest and water at 18 km, I continued up a muddier, less steep mountain with a technical finish. Digging deep for energy to avoid falling, I felt immense pride and accomplishment despite the slippery mud and fatigue. I also learned that Senja gear works brilliantly in bad weather!
