One, two… three…! Welcome, Dogger Bank C! This is the third HVDC converter platform Aibel is building for Dogger Bank, the world's largest offshore wind farm.

The platform left our yard in Thailand seven weeks ago and has now arrived safely at our yard in Haugesund, Norway. It will be outfitted with Hitachi Energy’s HVDC technology before leaving for the UK and the field in 2025.

Together with Hitachi Energy, we have signed a new agreement with the
Germany-based renewable energy company RWE to accelerate the integration of offshore wind power into the grid🔌
The agreement covers three major HVDC projects for which RWE already has reserved engineering and production capacity 👨‍💻👷

Time for sailaways 📅 Within a few days, the Dogger Bank B and Dogger Bank C offshore wind platforms recently left their respective yards. The completed B platform is now on its way from Haugesund for installation at the field 👋 Meanwhile, the C platform, the third and final platform for the world’s largest offshore wind farm, has started the voyage from our yard in Thailand to Haugesund for completion 🗺️ Join us in wishing both a safe journey!

Adeus Bacalhau 👋 Yesterday, the final modules for the giant Bacalhau FPSO left our yard in Thailand 🇹🇭 Aibel has designed and built 22,000 tonnes of modules making it the largest project we have ever delivered from Thailand 🏆

The modules will now be installed on board the Bacalhau FPSO in Singapore. The complete vessel will be delivered by Modec to end-client and operator Equinor. It will be one of the world’s largest FPSOs and is to be deployed at the Bacalhau field off the coast of Brazil 🇧🇷

The yellow giant has arrived 🟨
After more than two months at sea 🌊, the DolWin epsilon offshore wind converter platform has entered the strait outside our yard in Haugesund.
In the next couple of days, the platform will be floated off the Mighty Servant 1 transport vessel from Boskalis and placed at quayside. Here, Aibel and partner Hitachi Energy will start the final installation of electrical equipment and commissioning 👷
DolWin epsilon is expected to leave Haugesund next summer heading for the German North Sea and delivery to the client TenneT TSO 💪

We are thrilled to have kicked off the construction of the platform of the future 🚀 Together with Aker BP ASA, the first steel cut for Munin was marked today with a solemn ceremony where Thai monks blessed the steel 🙏

First steel cut for the platform of the future On Thursday 2 November, Aibel together with customer Aker BP marked the start of the construction of the unmanned Munin production platform.

The majestic DolWin Epsilon wind platform has set sail for Norway🚢 Soon, Aibel will have two wind platforms at the Haugesund yard at the same time.

DolWin epsilon platform on its way to Haugesund On 15 October, the HVDC offshore wind convertor platform DolWin epsilon left Seatrium’s yard in Singapore. It is now heading for Aibel in Haugesund for final installation of electrical equipment and commissioning.

Ready, steady, go!
We will deliver two offshore wind converter platforms to Hornsea 3 for Ørsted. Construction activities just kicked off at our yard in Thailand, where monks blessed the cutting of the first steel in a solemn ceremony. 🙏
