Scam Alert: Fake calls from unknown number has been reported . Nepal Police requests all the citizens to stay alert.
"The fake callers calls people as from Cyber Crime Department informing them that their social media account has been hacked and private photo has been leaked. If any such calls are received by people, it should be reported to the nearest police station", says the Nepal Police.

तर आज हामीसँग सय जना संक्रमित भेटिए भने के गर्ने भन्ने योजनासम्म छैन । कोरोना भनेको एक–एक जना गरेर फैलिने होइन रहेछ भन्ने त देखिसकियो । एकबाट १० र १० बाट सय जनामा संक्रमण भइरहेको तथ्यले नै देखाएको छ । त्यसैले विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठनले नेपाललाई संकटको अवस्था आउने सक्ने देशको सूचीमा किन राख्यो भनेर पनि विश्लेषण गरौं ।

500 Chrome Extensions Caught Stealing Private Data of 1.7 Million

Google removed 500 malicious Chrome extensions from its Web Store after they found to inject malicious ads and siphon off user browsing data to servers under the control of attackers.

Using Duo Security's Chrome extension security assessment tool — called CRXcavator — the researchers were able to ascertain that the browser plugins operated by surreptitiously connecting the browser clients to an attacker-controlled command-and-control (C2) server that made it possible to exfiltrate private browsing data without the users' knowledge.
