Notice for Engineering and IT Quiz for Final Round..

Janakpur Concludes PEA Engineering & IT Quiz Selection

Madhes Province segment of the nationwide PEA Engineering & IT Quiz has been held at Central Engineering College, Janakpur on 25th of Chaitra, 2079 with motivating participation of more than 56 contestants, sponsoring college officials, PEA Associates, and the quiz mentor team in Central Engineering College, Janakpur. The quiz program conducted using the ICT has been designed to support the 10+2 studying students for their upcoming NEB exams and subsequent IOE Entrance examinations. It has been jointly organized by PEA Associates and College Readers in association with HISSAN. 28 teams participated from Janakpur vicinity where 4 teams secured their way for the final round that will be held in Kathmandu after the Board examinations of NEB.

Ketan Karna and Bidyanand Yadav from Model Multiple College won the first position; Pravesh Sharma and Sandip Pal from MIT stood second; and Riki Karna and Samsad Reza Raain of MIT got the third, and Vishwajeet Kumar Sah and Utkarsh Lal Karn secured the fourth position in the selection round of Madhes Province.
The opening session of the quiz program was chaired by Er. Laxman Pokharel, CEO, PEA Association, Chairman, Cosmos College of Management & Technology, Chairman of Himalayan WhiteHouse International College, Chairman of College of Biomedical Engineering & Applied Sciences, Board of Director of Advanced College of Engineering & Management, Immediate Past President, AECoN – announced the scholarship packages to the students and handed over the gift hampers. Mr. Birendra Sah, Principal of Model Multiple College and Directors Committee Member of HISSAN graced the program as the chief guest. Dr. Pawan Bhattarai from Cosmos College of Management and Technology, Lalitpur; Er. Bablu Jha, Vice Principal of Central Engineering College along with other school/college representatives observed the program as the guests.

Awards, Medals, certificates have been handed over to the first, second, third position holders by Dr Pawan Bhattarai, Principal of Cosmos College of Management and Technology and Jeetendra Ghimire, CEO of College Readers.

These four teams have been qualified for the final round which will be held after the board examination of plus-two. All the participants were motivated and encouraged the participants. The quiz program was hosted by Jeetendra Ghimire, CEO of College Readers and welcome speech was delivered by Keshav Nepal, Features Editor of College Readers.

PEA Engineering & IT Quiz Held in Dang

Team of Adarsha Secondary School, Nepalgunj consisting of Mahi Vaishya and Anup Bhusal won the Dang edition of Qualifying Round of PEA Engineering & IT Quiz jointly organized by College Readers and PEA Association in association with HISSAN on 30th Falgun, 2079 at Rapti Engineering College, Dang.

The quiz program was chaired by Er. Laxman Pokharel, CEO of PEA Association and graced by Educationist Narayan Gurung, Former Campus Chief of Mahendra Multiple Campus, Ghorahi
as the chief guest. The team consisting of Shiva KC and Khem Lal Devkota from Gorkha Secondary School, Tulsipur stood second, Aakash Bhandari and Sarun Budhathoki from Gorkha International Public School, Ghorahi became third, and the team of Pratyush Rajaure and Sagar Paudel from Dang Valley School/College, Ghorahi became fourth in the contest.

Qualifying Round of PEA Engineering & IT Quiz held in Dhangadhi
Radiant Secondary School, situated in Mahendranagar, has bagged the sweeping victory over other contestants in Qualifying Round of PEA Engineering & IT Quiz jointly organized by College Readers and PEA Association in association with HISSAN on 27th Falgun, 2079 at NAST College, Dhangadhi.
The quiz program was chaired by Er. Laxman Pokharel, CEO of PEA Association and graced by Educationist Shivhari Sharma Mudbhari, Managing Director of NAST College as the chief guest. Dr. Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, Principal of Cosmos College of Management & Technology, Ganesh Joshi, Promoter of Radiant Secondary School, Chhatra Raj Pandit, Principal of Galaxy School observed the program as the guests.
Santosh Joshi and Pranzal Bhatt from Radiant School stood first and received ten thousand cash prize. Likewise, team of Sumit Badu and Swastik Bhandari, and team of Gopi Krishna Bhatt and Harish Bom had been successful to receive the second and third positions respectively. Rohan Chaudhary and Prakash Chokhal from Aishwarya Vidya Niketan Secondary School got the consolation prize. These four teams have been qualified for the final round which will be held after the board examination of plus-two. All the participants were provided the certificates and badges and scholarships.

PEA Engineering & IT Quiz held in Itahari

Itahari Selection Round of PEA Engineering & IT Quiz for Province 1 has been held on 6th Falgun, 2079 at Sushma Godawari College, Itahari partaking 33 teams from Morang, Sunsari and Jhapa districts.

The quiz program has been jointly organized by PEA Association and College Readers in association with HISSAN. Out of 33 teams, 4 teams got selected for qualifying round that will be held in Kathmandu after the Board examinations of NEB. Bishal Khatiwada and Ishant Raj Bista from BKVM +2, Biratnagar; Ayush Shahu and Nirajan Bhandari from Sushma Secondary School, Itahari; Niraj Regmi and MD Ajajul Rain from Araniko Abasiya School, Biratnagar and Niraj Mandal and Shubham Paudel from BKVM +2, Biratnagar got first, second, third and fourth positions respectively.

The opening session of the quiz program was chaired by Mr. KP Gautam, Managing Editor, College Readers. Former President of Private Boarding Schools’ Organization Nepal (PABSON) and Founder Principal of Everest School/College was the chief guest. Mr. Puri encouraged the students and motivated them for their studies and wished best for quiz competition. He also thanked College Readers and PEA for their praiseworthy initiation conducting the pure academic quiz.

Mukunda Ghimire, Central Committee Member of HISSAN and Balaram Pant, Central Committee Member of HISSAN and Vice Principal, Sushma Godawari College graced the program as the guests.
Navaraj Neupane, Administrative Director of PEA Association announced the scholarship to the winners and participants of Itahari Selection Round. Awards, Medals, certificates have been handed over to the first, second, third and fourth holders. The quiz competition had been conducted under the leadership of Niraj Sharma, Quiz Director, PEA Engineering & IT Quiz. Ganesh Dulal, Principal, Vishwa Adarsha College congratulated all the quiz winners.

Selection Round of PEA Engineering & IT Quiz held in Chitwan

Chitwan Selection Round of the nationwide PEA Engineering & IT Quiz has been held in Chitwan on 11th February, 2023 at United Technical College (U-TEC), Bharatpur partaking 33 teams from Chitwan, Nawalpur, Makwanpur and Parsa districts.

The quiz program conducted using the ICT has been designed to support the 10+2 studying students for their upcoming NEB exams and subsequent IOE Entrance examinations. It has been jointly organized by PEA Association and College Readers in association with HISSAN. Out of 33 teams, 4 teams got selected for qualifying round that will be held in Kathmandu after the Board examinations of NEB. Yogesh Ghale and Rochak Adhikari from Anukram Academy; Yogendra Sharma Upadhyaya and Saurav Kafle from Aroma Secondary School Sanjib Paduel and Ram Hari Bhattarai from Aroma Secondary School and Prasanna Gautam and Satvik Gupta from Valmiki Shiksha Sadan got first, second, third and fourth positions respectively.

Gandaki Province segment of The nationwide PEA Engineering & IT Quiz has been held in Pokhara on 4th of February, 2023 with motivating participation of more than 72 contestants, sponsoring college officials, PEA Associates, and the quiz mentor team in Pokhara Engineering College, Firke, Pokhara. The quiz program conducted using the ICT has been designed to support the 10+2 studying students for their upcoming NEB exams and subsequent IOE Entrance examinations. It has been jointly organized by PEA Associates and College Readers in association with HISSAN. 36 teams participated from Pokhara where 3 teams secured their way for the final round that will be held in Kathmandu after the Board examinations of NEB. Prakash Bastola and Binaya Bastola from Motherland Secondary School won the first position; Abhikesh KC and Bibek Paudel from Prativa Secondary School stood second; and Prakash Pant and Sailesh Dhakal of Gandaki Boarding School got the third position in the selection round of Gandaki Province. Pokhara Engineering College (PEC) announced scholarships to the winners and the participants all. PEC will provide 15% for participants, 75% for province winner, 50% for the second, 25% for the third, and 100% for the winners in Bachelors of Engineering studies.

Lumbini Province segment of the nationwide PEA Engineering & IT Quiz has been held in Butwal on 1st of February, 2023 amongst the huge presence and participation of more than 80 contestants, sponsoring college officials, PEA Associates, and the quiz mentor team in Crimson College of Technology, Kalikanagar, Butwal. The quiz program conducted using the ICT has been designed to support the 10+2 studying students for their upcoming NEB exams and subsequent IOE Entrance examinations. It has been jointly organized by PEA Association and College Readers in association with HISSAN.
39 teams participated from Butwal where 3 teams secured their way for the final round that will be held in Kathmandu after the Board examinations of NEB. Aakash Bagale Thapa and Bishal Aryal from Shanti School won the first position; Samip Paudel and Yubraj Panthi from New Horizon School stood second; and Sandesh Dhakal and Atish Pandey of Horizon Gautam Buddha School got the third position in the selection round of Lumbini Province.

PEA Engineering & IT Quiz Inducted
PEA Engineering & IT Quiz has been inducted through Kathmandu Vallely Selection Round on the 14th Magh, 2079 in august presence and participation of more than 120 contestants, sponsoring college officials, PEA Associates, and the quiz mentor team at Advanced College of Engineering & Management, Balkhu, Kathmandu. The quiz program solely designed to support the 10+2 studying students for their upcoming NEB exams and subsequent IOE Entrance examinations has been jointly organized by PEA Associates and College Readers in association with HISSAN.

From the total 64 teams of the Kathmandu valley and the vicinity, 16 teams: St. Xavier College-A, St. Xavier College-B, National School of Sciences, DAV +2 School, Morgan International College, KIST College, Trinity International College, Bluebird College Jubilant College, Nepal Mega College, KMC-A, KMC-B, The Times International College, Kathmandu Bernhardt College and Southwestern State College got qualified for the final event that will be held after the NEB examinations.

The next 16 finalist teams will get selected from across Nepal. The selection round will be held in Pokhara, Chitwan, Butwal, Dhangadhi, and Itahari within Falgun, 2079.
The qualified16 teams were awarded with the certificates, Medals, bags, Quiz badges and the diaries. The quiz masters were honored and provided Token of Love, and the quiz participants with the badges and the Certificates of Participation.

The inauguration program was addressed by the sponsoring college officials and announced the scholarships and other packages to benefit the students. Dr. Er. Pawan Bhattarai, Principal, Cosmos College of Technology and Management, Dr. Surya Adhikari, Director, College of Biomedical Engineering & Medical Sciences, Prof. Toya Narayan Paudel, Principal, Himalayan Whitehouse International College and Laxmi Bhakta Maharjan, Vice Principal, Advanced College of Engineering & Management had addressed the program.

Having been conducted since 2075 BS, PEA Engineering/IT Quiz in association with HISSAN jointly organized by College Readers and PEA Association is a landmark quiz event for plus-two science students. This quiz program has been designed on the bases of syllabus of NEB and IOE Entrance examination. It encourages the students in their own study and motivates for framing their examinations.
