Paleti means the traditional way of eating in the village. Families would sit down cross legged around a low table on cushions. At Paleti Bhanchhar Ghar, we offer both the Paleti traditional way of eating as well as regular tables and chairs. We find out visitors love the intimacy of the Paleti style of eating.

Nepali Thali Set – This is the legendary Nepali Dhal/Bhat. Made with your choice of local free range chicken, mutton, mushroom or fish, it is the staple of the traditional Nepali food.

Nepali Faper (Buckwheat)/Kodo (Millet) Dhido Set – Made with traditional village grown buckwheat. It has its own unique flavor due to the soil of the mountains.

Nepali Faper/Kodo Roti Set – Buckwheat and millet powder bread is served with this tasty dish.

Fresh Trout – Our trout is fresh from the mountain streams where they pick select the freshest fish. The fish you eat was swimming that morning!

Nepali Khaja Set- The special Nepali snacks usually made of Chiura (beaten rice), Gundruk, Peanuts Sadheko, Dalmot Bhujia, Aalu Fry, Papad, Salad, Achar, Chicken etc.

Traditional Momo – This is Nepal’s favorite snack, which makes for a great meal. Like a meat or vegetable dumpling, it is downright tasty and filling.
