The major objective of GREEN CIRCLE is to promote environmental friendly office practices in private sectors, thereby promoting the eco-friendly within the company. It also focuses on Women Empowerment by engaging women in the production of the products. Green Circle is conceptualized for the following purpose:
• To motivate private sector, NGOs, INGOs, Banks, Hotels etc. participation for paper waste collection and recycling.
• Recycling of the paper waste and encouraging reuse in the market place.
• Empowering private sector for environmental conservation activities. Benefits from being a GREEN CIRCLE member
1. Collection of paper waste for recycling. There will be collection of paper at regular interval or according to the requirement.
2. Use of registered and branded GREEN CIRCLE Logo in their official collateral, stationery and advertising campaign to convey the organizational commitment for good environment practices.
3. Annual Training Workshop: A short training about environment friendly best practices and provide discount on recycled products.
4. Use of customized printed paper pads for office use.
5. Member organizations can share with their customers through various collaterals mentioning “A Proud Member of Green Circle.”
