Ashar 15, celebrated on the 15th of 3rd month of Nepali calendar as rice plantation celebration of celebration of end of rice plantation period in the mid or monsoon season. Celebrate the festivity by having yogurt and chiura, the beaten rice. Om Handicrafts celebrated it with a feast this afternoon.

It was a great day to organize the Momo/Beer party as a fundraiser for Team Saath and Children of Hakuna Matata. We hope that we made a difference. Special thanks goes to Ms. Katla Bjorg Ingimundardottir and Ms. Freja Estrup Haagensen from Denmark who coordinated the event. Kudos to Om Handicrafts Team for always wanting to do more and relentlessly working so hard. And most of all, a Big thanks to all the participants who showed us love, supported us and contributed for the children in need.
