As well as trekking, there are a number of other exciting options for you to explore from Pokhara, such as kayaking, zip lining or paragliding.

Some photos of a recent trek to Gurja. I helped with some of the initial organisation and accompanied the trek as translator. One of the trekkers had damaged her foot so we organised a horse so she could continue with the trek.

There are a number of options for getting to the start of your trek - you can walk, or catch a bus or taxi, or I can source a reasonably priced vehicle for you!

Pokhara is a great place to start your trek. Just a half hour flight from Kathmandu, with lots of trekking shops where you can buy reasonably priced trekking equipment.
It is very attractive with a large boating lake and mountain views. There are lots of bars and restaurants where you can enjoy a wide variety of dishes.
