This special performance will be delivered by , a dynamic band, started by students from Kathmandu University.

The event is open to all, free of cost on a donation basis. The proceeds from this concert will go towards their new album and to replace a Sarod (traditional , string instrument). To find out what it is and what sounds it makes - join us for this unique performance 😍🙏

Tom and Angela came all the way from Australia 🇦🇺 to get married in Nepal 🇳🇵

As Australians getting married in Nepal could have been overwhelming and daunting to coordinate, however we were extremely fortunate to stumble across Begnas Lake Resort whilst conducting one of our many Google searches.
From first contact the owner/managers were friendly, professional and considerate to our needs. Nine times out of ten they were able to answer any questions we had and on the off occasion they didn’t know the answer they quickly found it out for us.
Communication with them was excellent and via video WhatsApp calls so we got to meet and see their friendly smiley faces before we arrived.
They went out of their way to arrange things for us that we could not do ourselves with us being out of the country.
They made us feel confident that everything was going to run ok.
When we arrived in Nepal communication remained excellent and on our resort arrival day they arranged for us to be collected via boat and travel across the lake, this in itself was an experience for the senses, the sights and sounds were incredible. They requested us to arrive before our guests which was really appreciated and gave us some alone time to explore. Later our guests also arrived by boat and were blown away by the stunning setting, the resort has it all…. Mountains, lake, forest, nature!!!
The accommodation was luxurious and relaxed with no details spared set in an organic farm you feel at one with nature.
The food and beverages left us wanting for nothing!
The staff were beautifully friendly and kind hearted making us feel welcome.
When it came to the wedding itself everything worked perfectly like a finely tuned machine yet did not feel regimental or rigid, the experience was relaxed and quite honestly the best day of our lives, we spent the entire time laughing, smiling and being happy - exactly the way a marriage should start!!
I would absolutely recommend Begnas Lake Resort, the food, staff to anyone and so would our guests. It was a truly amazing experience!!!
We can’t wait to go back!

The Kauaʻi ʻōʻō performance will showcase improvisational music, blending Himalayan and Tibetan instruments with drones. This musical style is designed to create a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere for the audience.

In our watercolor workshop you will learn the basic techniques of watercolor and create your own Nepal-themed postcard 🥰
