On the occasion of 42nd World Tourism Day 2021,Their Excellencies the Ambassador's and Head of Diplomatic Missions & International Organizations in Nepal were on visit to Pokhara.This program was initiated by Gandaki Province government and coordinated by Nepal Tourism Board Gandaki Province and Pokhara Tourism Council.Some of the glimpse of excursion tour to Pokhara.

As per the short term employment program second batch of 46 people have started to work from today.Workers will work for 10 days on a trekking route to Ghalekharka-Nagi- Tarahilltop-Thak-Siklesh.
Equipments and materials have been handovered to workers through small greetings program at the their work place.
This program is led by UNDP, NTB and coordinated by TAAN Gandaki Province.

Nepal Tourism Board,Gandaki Province and United Nation Development program (UNDP) coordinates with Trekking Agency Association of Nepal (TAAN) to organize the Short term Employement program to around 200 Hiking workers for 10 days.
Accroding to the first step today on 8th Ashoj 2078, Friday, the program was launched by involving 30 hiking workers in the maintenance and sanitation program of Naudanda, Kaskikot, Sarangkot, Methlang, Jarebar trekking routes.

In the cordial invitation of Gandaki province government and lead initiation taken by NATTA province 2 and 4, Province 2 Chief minister Hon. Lal Babu Raut along with the president from BICCI,FNCCI, NYEF, JSCCI and other stakeholders from Janakpur, Simara and Birgunj are in Pokhara for domestic tourism revival and destination promotion program.An understanding has also been signed between NATTA province 2 and 4 in the presence of two chief ministers for cordial promotion and coordination of tourism activities between two of the provinces.Taking this opportunity Nepal Tourism Board Gandaki Province Office highlighted its role in promoting and facilitating the stakeholders and shared a token of love to distinguished delegates.

Initiation led by Buddha air to connect Simara and Pokhara has really been enticing.
Encashing the moment Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agent Gandaki Province took the lead role for organising and coordinating the domestic tourism revival program in Province 2. During interaction Birgunj Chamber of Commerce and Industries have shown great interest for continuity of flight and emphasised to organise more similar kinds of events and B2B travel programs.

Overall the initiation for flight connectivity and tourism revival promotional program has concluded successfully adding positive vibes and vigour for tourism industry of province 2 and 4.

The wait is over. The Initiation led by Buddha air✈️ to start the air connectivity to and from Simara to Pokhara is finally started from 1sept ,2021. Direct ✈️ flight thrice a week (Sunday, wednesday and Friday) has been started to and from pokhara to Simara.

Initiation led by Pokhara Tourism Council and grit to start the tourism activities with full zest has eventually led tourism stakeholders to get a jab against covid-19. Kashi Raj bhandari- Chief, NTB Gandaki Province perpetuating the moment with provincial government representatives and tourism stakeholders for survival and revival of tourism industry amid and post Covid.

New Tourism Brand of Pokhara.

NTB Gandaki Province developed and branded Pokhara as “ Pokhara, Pure as Paradise” after a series of consultations and focussed discussions with stakeholders and released the same in the presence of media invitees with an aim to promote Pokhara city with a definite brand image and develop business for different segments of tourism available here.
Mr. Kashi Raj Bhandari, NTB Chief of Gandaki Province and Senior Director made a detailed presentation on the special highlights of the brand and seek support from different sectors for the successful implementation of the brand.
