It is once again our pleasure to share with you that Destiny Bay has been announced as the #2 winery in New Zealand by in the Top Wineries of New Zealand awards. A spot that we have now occupied for a third consecutive year! A huge thanks and our deep appreciation to Bob Campbell MW and the team at for recognising the efforts of our winemaking team, year after year.

The results are in! Bob Campbell MW has released his scores and tasting notes for the 2021 vintage. Scoring a hat-trick, the 2021 Magna Praemia joins earlier vintages (2019 and 2020) with an exciting 99 points out of a 100. Destinae follows closely with 98 points in a never-before-seen overtaking of the Mystae which came in at a delightful 97 points. The merits of being top A year after Waiheke red wine specialist, Destiny Bay, learned that they had been awarded top spot in The Real Review Top Wineries of New Zealand 2021 Bob Campbell MW asked owner/winemaker Sean Spratt what impact the award had on their business.
The Real Review have announced its annual list of Top Wineries of New Zealand. Destiny Bay has been consistently ranked in the Top 5 for the last four years and we are honoured to be recognised, once again. This year, Destiny Bay sits at Number 2, only a small change from last years Number 1 spot and Winery of the Year title. Congratulations to Kusuda, who scored First Place and to all of our fellow Waiheke vineyards that made the list.
