I started my drafting/design career in 2011 as Trainee and worked my way up to CAD Systems Support in the mining industry , I’ve been a Steel Detailer in the building industry, an Architectural Advisor and Designer in the aluminum joinery industry, Digital Modeler in the appliance industry and an Application Software Consultant in the building industry.

I have used a wide range CAD packages across multiple disciplines and I have 11 years experience in CAD.

So it’s been a little quiet on this side, a lot things have been happening in the background, but most importantly been enjoying the holidays and time with the family.

Been working on a short film tutorial and wow it’s been so fun learning about rigging and animation. Looking forward to showing you all the finished project, here’s a sneak peak of a character just a simple (Star Wars inspired) droid. 🤖

Wow so it’s been a while in posting anything and all I can say is Island Time is real..🏝

Although the Island I live on is not quite as remote as this one but hey🤷🏻‍♂️

Had some fun with this one, lots of late nights (early mornings) and changing my mind a few times but I think I got it to where I wanted… Enjoy some Island Life

Although there may not be much in this scene it was definitely a challenge, but a lot fun rendering a large body of water.

A Little Subway Scene

A man can only dream!! A concept render for a man cave.

We all need a little time outdoors, off grid and away from distractions.... Even if it’s 3D Render!

Had lots of fun modeling The Mystery Machine, brought back so many childhood memories of watching Scooby-Doo

My go at making the Star Destroyer. A great way to learn how to use micro displacements to create the patterns of the body vs modeling each bit of pattern.

A stylized version of Earth, sun glow effect and some city lights in the shadows.

This was such fun playing around with and learning to use the liquid simulation. Can’t wait to try it out in larger volumes.

Bedroom Render, now this was fun project. Also learnt the hard way, that you don’t have to model every prop for these kind of renders.

Model only key items and reference in the rest to save time. Which I ended up doing after numerous attempts to model certain props

Product render of a Zanotta William style couch/sofa.. Using the cloth simulation to make the throw and cushions was a fun learning experience.

A little product rendering, a Soborg wooden chair and the start of a studio setup done.

No matter how big the big project, something new is always learnt

Hmmm a donut and coffee sounds like a great way to start the morning 🍩 ☕️.
