The Pigeon Run

It's that time again!

Another week means another Pigeon Run! We hope to see lots of you on the start line this week as the sun hopefully stays with us a little longer.

Hi All,

It's that time of year again where we run as Pigeons outside our usual Wednesday time slot. This year we're hoping to send a team to the Terry Fox Run again. The event is on the 15th of September and is free to enter. The run is 5km of Barry Curtis Park (The ParkRun Course) and all funds raised go towards cancer research. You can register before the run or online. The run starts at 10am. If you need more info get in touch and we'll do our best to help out.

It's been so great to see so many different pigeons week in and week out over this winter period and hopefully now we've weathered the worst of it! Wednesday Night Warriors!

Huge shoutout to our select pigeons who braved the abysmal weather before our run/walk this week and still came out and crushed our course. (Despite the return headwind). In the middle of winter it means so much to everyone who helps put this on that we still have people showing up week in and week out despite the weather.

Back In Business!

It was great to be back on course and back in the bar for prizegiving this week! We want to just say again how grateful we are for all the messages of support as well as the continued support of those who show up every week.

We're back on the street this week as we come back! Come down and show some love to our bar staff as well as the bar in general in our first run since reopening.

While we are calling off this week's walk/run due to the recent events at the bar, we still welcome your support. Keep an eye out on the Bars official socials St Heliers Bay Pigeon Racing Club for more info about when our favorite place to roost will be open again.
