For those who haven’t been aware, Alice has been progressing forward with chiropractic-centred research over the past few years, culminating in completing her PhD in which she created a way to identify concussions via eye tracking - something that is sorely needed in New Zealand as many injured people miss out on the health care they need.

However, after many years trying to balance practicing, teaching, and research Alice has been offered an opportunity to build her concussion test into a tool that doctors, allied health professionals, and sports teams can use. It will not just be for concussions but for identifying the early stages of dementia and cognitive decline.

This choice has been a heart-wrenching one for her, but ultimately Alice feels she can do more to make the world a better place by committing to this research. This means she had to make a choice she never thought she would have to make, which is to step back from practicing for a while.

So where to from here? Alice will be making introductions for our people to our new attending Chiropractors, making sure you all have the care you need. These faces and names might be new, but their commitment to your ongoing care on my behalf is my legacy to you.

Alice will be available right up until the end of December & looks forward to seeing you all again.

Britt while having lived in New Zealand for many years was born and raised in Canada but now calls our sunny shores home.
She is an avid ice hockey player and after injury during a game she discovered Chiropractic.
Since then she has become a brilliant practitioner and we are incredibly lucky to have her join our team here.

Dr Britt utilises, what is known as the Diversified Technique, the Thompson Technique, Activator, and NET.

Please do join us in welcoming her on board and call-in for a check up, it's been a very long winter so it’s time to get yourself back into alignment ready for what is a very overdue New Zealand summer!

Here at Chiropractic First - Kohi it is with great pleasure we get to introduce Dr Dion.

He grew up playing rugby and cricket and has always been fascinated by the human body and how it works. This lead him to discover Chiropractic as a teenager exploring ways to better perform in his sports and in his daily life.

Dr Dion studied under Dr Alice Cade and graduated from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in 2021 and is excited to help improve the health of the Kohimarama community.

He utilises Diversified, Activator, Thompson, and Applied Kinesiology techniques in his practice.

With mixed emotions, we announce Dr Grace's departure from the clinic to pursue new chiropractic opportunities overseas. Dr Grace will be available until February 22nd, after which Dr Minette Prinsloo will be stepping in to provide you with exceptional chiropractic care.
