A great day on the Monte playground today! Little people in maroon covering all areas of our awesome space.

We managed to dodge in and out of the rain showers on Wednesday to action our Fitness Festival and running races. It was such fun and all the groups showcased different skills. Let’s keep it up team! 💪🏻

Congratulations to our certificate superstars this week and to a beautiful Prayer Assembly this morning led by our Middle Hub student. We learnt about the parable of the lost sheep through a great play!

Fr Sam and the SJV parish celebrated The Assumption of Mary last week with a Monte Mass led by our students. It was a beautiful way to honour our holy mother.

A group students went on a trip to the Mary MacKillop Centre in Kohimarima. On their return, our senior led a prayer session in each of the hubs focusing on the teachings of Mary MacKillop.

We started this week with a beautiful Prayer Assembly with a Tongan Language theme, led by the Yr 1 team. We had a huge group of certificate winners too.

This weeks superstars! There has been some awesome literacy learning happening - these certificates were almost all for excellent progress in spelling and reading. Ka rawe kids! 👍

Vianney Whānau group activities. These sessions embrace "Tuakana-Teina” - a Māori concept referring to the relationship between an older sibling (Tuakana) and a younger sibling (Teina). Our students thrive when they learn from, and support, each other.

Kia ora, a reminder that those students going on the MacKillop trip tomorrow need to wear correct uniform please - no hoodies.
