The DEADLINE is June 30 so get it done today in case the funds don't clear in time!

Check the My IR section on the IRD website for your employee contributions. This way, if you have contributed less than $1.042.86, you can still top up your account and make up the difference.
Even if you are not regularly contributing to KiwiSaver you should try and take advantage of the annual Government contribution each year.
A 50% return on your investment is a good deal no matter where it comes from.
To receive the maximum amount, you must contribute $1,042.86 annually. The KiwiSaver year begins on the 1st of July and ends on the 30th of June, so if you miss out this time make sure you contribute $1,042.86 in this window next year.

The National led government have definitely delivered on their promise and the are bigger than expected.
You'll get an extra $5 - $135 per week depending on how much you earn and if you have any children.

Break fees, also referred to as early repayment adjustments (ERA), are costs charged to borrowers when they repay or adjust their loan before the end of the agreed fixed term.
They commonly arise when refinancing, selling a home, or paying off a mortgage early.
Lenders impose these fees to compensate for the potential loss of interest they would have earned if the mortgage had continued as initially agreed.
Break fees can be complex and vary from one lender to another. Although it may not be possible to completely avoid break fees in certain situations, there are strategies you can employ to minimise their impact which I cover in this weeks update.

One of the benefits of KiwiSaver is that youโre not the only one contributing to your retirement savings.
If youโre employed, your employer must also contribute at least 3% to your KiwiSaver account (though some choose to contribute even more).

Each year, if you're aged 18-64, the Government will add up to $521.43 to your KiwiSaver account.
