It’s Mental Health Awareness week🩵

As a business and as humans, this is super important to us and to spread awareness! Taking care of your wellbeing and mental health is something that I have always tried to make a priority.

I have suffered from anxiety and depression since a young age and I’ve been through a lot of wars and inner battles with myself, therapy worked for me and I’ve learnt the tools to not only cope and work through what life throws at me but also to have a fulfilling life without always being on the edge with crippling anxiety.

A huge help for me is speaking about it when you are feeling down with someone you trust, reaching out for help when it gets too much, spending time with friends and family that fill your cup. Lots of journaling and writing down your feelings and frustrations. Taking time to slow down and rest, self care and doing things that you love✨

Especially as business owners, we are so busy rushing around filling orders, answering messages and juggling life at the same time that we don’t think about how it affects our hinengaro (mind). Please take the time to rest, reset and be kind to yourself. Our mental health matters and check on your friends and your whanau because you never know what someone’s going through✨
