RT : So what’s next for Auckland? Honestly, we don’t know. We are hoping to hold events in 2023 but won’t have dates for the next year for some time. However, if the Showgrounds goes the way of the parrot, well, that’s a very different problem and one that we will face if it happens.

RT : We have to have the Auckland Showgrounds to make this event work as planned. We have begged, pleaded, publicised, been in the media and talked with everyone involved in the hopes to get in and hold the event in what currently is an empty venue, to no avail.
