Fakalofa lahi atu kia mutolu Oti We want to take this time to send our warmest thanks to each and everyone of you for representing our nation of Niue in the 1st nations basketball tournament. We truly appreciate your efforts and commitment during the lead up and throughout this awesome event. To the players, we are so PROUD of you all! To your hardout work, skills & talent that you showed as you represented the colours of Niue! The future is very bright for all of you. We are honoured and humbled to have battled alongside you over the weekend. The medals that some of you earned is worth more than gold to Niue basketball. Please continue to work hard! To all you amazing parents, we acknowledged that your children could have represented their other nationalities, however you chose to represent Niue & for that we are truly grateful. We honour you for all the sacrifices, time, travel & costs you have made throughout their young lives. Their great attitudes, determination and hard work during the weekend is a reflection of you and your work as parents/caregivers. To the coaches Dave Heli & son, Uani, Sonny and the Milani brothers Peter and Buster for all your help & work with our teams. We thank you! We especially want to thank Eddie Erick, Jackie Talagi, Niuesa, Sifagrace and Anzac Simi. Words can't express how grateful we are to you all for love and support you gifted us for this tournament.
