A fu***ng huge thank you to everyone at for having me out this weekend to rock some tacos with you! The fire was cranking, the pig was crispy and the beer was cold. You guys rule!

We got up nice and early to get the fire going. Pigs on and getting crispy! Hope you're ready!

We're so excited for our collaboration this weekend with Te Motu - Vineyard Restaurant & Cellar Door! I'm teaming up with head chef Yutak Son to cook an entire free range heritage breed pig from Farm Gate over the fire!

We've had to make a very big decision here at Tacos y Masa and it wasn't an easy one to make. As the winter months have seen a serious decrease in people coming out for tacos and the increase in price for our produce, we have unfortunately decided to close our doors until further notice at our spot at . Our focus has and will always be to make the best possible tacos that we can, completely from scratch everytime, without being focused on profit. However, it has slowed to the point that we literally can't afford to keep our doors open.

We will be open tonight, Friday 23/07 from 4 and tomorrow, Saturday 24/07 from 4. Saturday 24/07 will be our last day open.

We will however still be available for private catering and salsa orders.

The base of what we do at Tacos y Masa. Our entire menu revolves around this one item. We make it, by hand, everyday we're open. It starts from raw NZ grown maize. Once the maize is mixed with water and CAL and soaks for around 15 hours we grind it in our hand cranked mill. Without it, we wouldn't do what we do.

Open from Thursday through Sunday from 4 at our spot at 2 Korora Road, Oneroa.
