June 2024 has been a busy month for Team JD’S characterized by numerous construction projects, including pre-slab pipe outs, new builds, and maintenance work.

As we move forward, we are excited to undertake fresh endeavors and showcase our proficiency in various aspects of construction, including shop fit-outs, repairs, commercial projects, and small jobs too!

✔️✔️We have been busy working on a project for the past two years in Coatesville Riverhead.

Today we finished up the the Reclaim energy C02 Hot water heat pump.

Which is one of New Zealand’s most efficient hot water heat pumps,up to 5 x more efficient than and electric element.

Environmentally friendly with one of the best COP ratings and a low global warming potential.

The Reclaim CO2 heat pump can deliver up to five units of heat energy from the air for every unit of electricity it consumes. This means that the cost of energy used to produce your hot water is minimised.

Also this system has an added ring main, which delivers hot water to each fixture in less than 4 seconds!

The bath was tricky to install on this one as it weighed 400kg! We got there in the end.

We managed to get the last of the water meter banks installed, it a tight fit with so many water mains in one space, but we got there.

✔️✔️Our Beachhaven dwelling and under slab Plumbing started today in the basement level.

This project consists of a 3x bathroom house with ocean views,looking out into the Hauraki Gulf.

There is no room for acess of excavators on this project, so it’s all dug buy hand. Using ramps and slides to get our materials down to the lower level.

We look forward to the rest of the build.

We install back flow devices all over Auckland and carry out commissioning and testing on these devices.

We also make our own back flow protection cages, and will be providing plumbing merchants across NewZealand in 2023. These are all hand made at our work shop.

The back flow device stops cross contamination of potable water with non potable water. And keep the community and occupiers safe.

Most town houses have these devices in Auckland.

It is up to the home owner to get these devices tested annually, which Jd'S Plumbing can do for you and provide a certificate of compliance.

This project consisted of 12 x 2 bedroom 3 story units and 1 x 2 story 1 bed unit.

This project consisted of 10 x units with 6 of them being dual- key units.

✔️✔️The JD'S Team have started this gem
in Coatsville RiverHead today.

This project consists of 1 x minor dwelling which will be used as a B&B. And 1 x main house dwelling.

The minor dwelling will be constructed first for the new owners to move into, while they can keep an eye on the main house build.

The floors are all polished concrete, which means there is absolutely no room for error.

The JD'S Team have designed the hydraulics for this project carefully alongside with the owners.

🔴 ✔️✔️We havnt posted up for a while, as we have been busy completing underslab plumbing across multiple projects.

In the last week, we have completed 38 underslabs for 38 new homes. The lads have been busy busy. Can't wait for the builds to start so we can get stuck in!
