The Yoga Tree's newly remodelled studio is one of the most beautiful dedicated practise spaces in Auckland.
What's on your mind?
It's been a few years since I closed the studio and reverted back to finance. The pull of a more reliable income, as a single mother was strong, so I did what I felt was right for my family at the time.
With my children no longer children (technically), I'm rethinking a few things. Among them, I am pondering the demand for yoga, amid a fairly saturated market, versus providing accessible, entertaining and easy-to-implement strategies for improving wealth and well-being.
I am interested to hear your thoughts as this page still has a lot of followers. Thank you for that. x
Would you be interested in...
a) yoga straight up. I i.e. 'you' promise to come to class.
b) more meditation and restorative type classes
c) very keen on retreats outside of NZ
d) more information and resources to help me strengthen my financial position. BTW if you are, please give my other page Amanda Morrall a follow.

Yoga and Ayurveda Healthy Ageing Workshop
This Saturday 30th July '22 (2pm- 4pm)
Flourish studio, 5 Huron Street, Takapuna
The bones are living tissue. They must be attended too to ensure lifelong health. How can we use Yoga and Ayurveda to help prevent or minimise ageing?
This workshop will explore this. It is suitable for people of all ages
Will include a targeted Yoga practice - as well as some learnings.
- Prevention strategies -where is your body collapsing?
Muscle imbalances and their relationship to the joints.
- Yoga and the importance of good postural awareness.
- A few poses we should do every day
- How to strength the bone and nourish the astha dahtu – way before menopause to prevent the possibility of any chronic decline
- Herbs and supplements that may help
It was a rough start to my day.
This lovely mantra worked a charm to get rid of my bad mood and restore some peace of mind.
Literally, the sun emerged from the clouds and I experienced a few successive good things within the hour.
Sharing for those who may need to bust through the darkness, because sometimes a bad mood can be hard to shake.
