I’d love to introduce you to Birke, one of the incredible talents in our Vaniye family! ❤️ 👩‍🍳

Originally from Austria, Birke has been working in pastry since she was just 15 years old. Her passion has taken her from Austria to the US, and France, where she even co-owned a American bakery specializing in cheesecakes for 10 years in Paris!

21 years ago, we worked together at The Rose Bakery in Paris, and now, we are lucky to have her at Vaniye.
Together, with the rest of our amazing team, we pour our hearts into everything we create. Everyone here plays such a special role, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we achieve together. 🌟

Fun fact : She was born in Papua New Guinea

Throughout this next few months, I’ll be introducing you to the rest of my team so you know who’s who!

Wonderful dessert degustation/demo with a very talented Valrhona chef who popped over for a few days to see us all here in New Zealand.

There is a reason why I love using chocolates. It is not just the exceptional quality products they do. It's the constant innovation, the trusting relationship, the values, the transparency.

As some of you may already know, I have a personal connetion to this cause as my dearest father passed away from this at an early age. I have also had several polyps removed already by the time I was 30 thanks to my GP, who recognized my early symptoms and sent me off for screening straight away.
has been doing a wonderful job raising awareness and fighting to have the screening age dropped down. I am lucky enough to have had screening from a young age. However, there are many others who have suffered or lost their lives because they didn't get screened due to being too young or has no direct family history.
If you or your loved ones are affected by this, let's fight and beat this Cancer. We'll continue to smile and be strong, help spread the words and educate others about this form of Cancer. It is curable if detected at an early stage!
Any small amount will make a difference and would help many people out there. Many thanks. Sonia.
