'Alice can be number one in the world' Olympic skier Alice Robinson is having one of her best seasons on the World Cup circuit with three podiums so far, after a battle for survival in recent years.

It has been 5 months since we refurbished our roof here at Snowplanet! We would just like to say we have loved having you all back on our slopes, here at Snowplanet our community makes us who we are!!

A big congratulations to our SS athletes who competed in the Waimarino Cup & North Island Championship races at Whakapapa Saturday 18th August.
It was fantastic to hear so much positive feedback from athletes of all the programs regarding Stockman Sports course setting for both the Giant Slalom and Slalom Stubbie courses.

The SS coaches had no problem stepping in when needed to help set up the courses. Working together with the NST coaches to ensure the event went as smoothly as possible for everyone

So a BIG thank you to the 3 Stockman Coaches, our helper “Aron” and also our older athletes for digging in during what was their own training time and helping to set up and pack down the courses.

Running successful events at Whakapapa is always a joint effort between RAL Staff, Racers , Coaches and Parents, so thank you to you all.
For our athletes, take the time to absorb all you learnt about yourself over the weekend no matter what the result was.

In the short time of being back and operating at Whakapapa, Stockman Sports is receiving so much support from RAL Staff, The Clubbies, the local community and the many skiers we naturally interact with on the Maunga!
We are truly grateful to be back and our numbers are growing by the week 👊

Stockman Sports is back!!! and we are so happy to be back operating at Mt Ruapehu Whakapapa skifield for the 2023 winter season!
Our on-snow training starts next Saturday the 29th of July and we are looking forward to getting ski racing and high-level skiing back to where it should be at Mt Ruapehu and Whakapapa.
If you are interested in signing up for any of our Flexi Programs, be sure to contact us ASAP to become part of one of the best training programs in New Zealand.
We are excited to be doing what we love to do and we look forward to creating a pathway for our athletes to develop into the best skiers on the mountain and in the country.
