Welcome to the 2021 AUT Racing Club Executive Team!
At AUT, bullying and harassment is not acceptable. Bullying and harassment are unwanted and unwelcome behaviours, making it difficult to work and study peacefully and safely.
More information about bullying and harassment is here - http://aut.ac/BullyingandHarassment
This Friday, weβre celebrating Pink Shirt Day, where weβll work together to stop bullying by celebrating diversity and promoting positive social relationships, creating a community where all people feel safe, valued and respected, regardless of age, s*x, gender identity, s*xual orientation, ability, or cultural background.
We look forward to seeing you in pink as we celebrate diversity and inclusion at AUT.
The new logo is finished! Big thank you to Mary for the great design.
We would like to thank one of our first sponsors Hive for their support in allowing us to use their productivity platform. This tool has been invaluable in helping us with team management, organisation and coordination at AUT Racing and we're grateful for their support.
We are currently in the process of implementing the software across all of our teams as we have found it extremely useful for ensuring good communication between team members.
As we continue on towards our aim of being a fully-fledged FSAE team we know that Hive is going to be super helpful in ensuring that our projects are completed on time and without common problems faced by many teams.
Thank you Hive!

Hi AUT Racers, IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
We have been receiving a lot of messages recently from new students about what our clubs purpose is and what our plans are for the year. After much discussion within the committee, we have decided that from now on we will operate solely as the FSAE team for the university and no longer as a social club. We apologise to those of you who weren't interested in this aspect but we feel that we will not have the time to properly organise regular social events while our focus is on the FSAE competition.
What this means is that membership to AUT Racing will now be reduced to those of you who are a part of the FSAE team already and have been to one of our meetings this year. If you want to join the FSAE team we will be having an info night next week, details about this will be posted soon.
With that said we will still be running the occasional go-karting event. You do NOT need to be a member of the club to attend these, they will be open to all AUT students.
Thank you, and if you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Hi everyone, AUT Racing will be hosting our first club meeting of the year at 5pm on Friday 6th March. The room will be announced shortly.
We encourage everyone to come along to find out more about the club and our plans for the year. Also If you know someone interested in joining please feel free to bring them along.
Hope to see you all there!
Just a reminder that if you intend to come along to our go-kart event this weekend you must confirm going TODAY!
We hope to see you there.
TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE!
As Hampton requires payment prior to the event everyone who intends to go will need to purchase a ticket for their first race BEFORE FRIDAY 21st FEBRUARY.
Additional races can be paid for on the day!
Ticket prices will initially be $39 however if we reach 20 people attending they will drop to $34 and we will refund you the $5 if you already paid.
Any issues please let us know.
Thanks to everyone that came along to our information evening about the SAE team last week! It was good to meet you all and answer some of your questions.
If you were unable to attend then leave a comment below or email us at [email protected] and we will send you the sign-up form.
We will be getting in touch with everyone that's signed up after the exams.

Hi AUTRacers,
Just sharing a message from some fellow students. Don't forget that your vote matters. As a student or a young adult in NZ, sometimes it may feel like it can be hard to make a change or have a say in matters that you face in day-to-day life. But the easiest way to have your say is by voting. So don't forget to do it!
Stay speedy. π
