We are thrilled to announce this DEGANZ Selects with Japanese anime director Kenji Kamiyama!

In this special event, Kamiyama will provide insight into his career and work on his current project, the newest LOTR film ‘The War of the Rohirrim,’ as well as other projects including ‘Blade Runner: Black Lotus’ and ‘Ghost In The Shell.’ The discussion will be facilitated by film critic Dan Slevin.

Come along to engage with representatives from leading screen industry guilds, socialise with your screen community and make new connections.

🔹 Discover the Guilds’ Offerings: Learn about how these guilds support the screen industry, and the diverse range of resources and opportunities available from each guild, for their members

Formed in 1995, the Directors & Editors Guild of NZ represents directors, editors and assistant editors working across screen and new media in Aotearoa. We aim to promote excellence in the arts of directing, editing and assistant editing, and run networking events and a professional development programme for members.

We promote members’ creative and economic rights and foster collegiality and a sense of unity for members of the screen industry.

DEGNZ became a registered union in 2019.
