We had our Race Gala last Wednesday, 18th September, and we want to extend a huge thank you 🙌 to all the families who attended and helped us raise money for the Child Cancer Foundation. We are excited to announce that, across all sites, we raised an incredible $1,830! 🎉 We look forward to doing even more in 2025. Thank you for your amazing support!

We’re excited to celebrate Māori Language Week across all our Swim Schools! This week, we’re encouraging our teachers, students, and families to incorporate Te Reo Māori into our lessons. Let’s embrace and celebrate Māori culture together as we swim, learn, and grow!

Just a quick reminder that our Race Gala is happening next week on Wednesday, 18th September! 🎉 We’re raising money for the Child Cancer Foundation, so it’s a fantastic cause to get behind. 💛

This event also gives our amazing students from Pirates/Transformers (depending on location) a special opportunity to race and showcase their skills! 🏊‍♂️🏅

📢 Important Notice: Support Office Closure

Our Support Office will be closed today (Tuesday 3rd September) and tomorrow, Wednesday 4th September. We will re-open on Thursday 5th September.

All Pools will be operating as normal.

If you have any urgent queries, please email us, and we will aim to respond by Thursday 5th September, or by Friday 6th September at the latest.

In the meantime, you can use our amazing Fulton Swim School app to assist with booking make-ups, transfers, and checking progress. Of course, you can also reach out to any of our fantastic on-site staff for assistance.

🌊 Time Trials Just Got More Exciting! 🌊

Alongside our Time Trials, we’re introducing the X-test and T30 test, where we’ll be testing our students’ endurance and tracking their stamina improvements between terms. This is a great opportunity to see how far you’ve come and set new goals!

🌟🎉🏊‍♀️SWIMMER OF THE WEEK // MILA BYE🏊‍♀️🌟🎉- We are excited to announce that Mila Bye is our Swimmer of the week this week! Mila has been dedicated to working on her technique in her Supers class. Mila has an awesome Freestyle stroke with being efficient with tumble turns and breathing. Mila has also put a lot of effort into correcting her Breaststroke swim timing with being able to glide for 3 seconds. And finally Butterfly, Mila has really started to bring her arms out of the water for her butterfly swim. We are so proud of you Mila! Keep up the awesome swimming! 🏆

🌟🎉🏊‍♀️SWIMMER OF THE WEEK // JOANIE HAMBRIDGE 🏊‍♀️🌟🎉- Congratulations Joanie who is our swimmer of the week. Joanie swims in our Transformers class and has been working hard with their teaching to improve their swimming. Joanie has come a long way with her freestyle being able to blow bubbles and roll to breathe efficiently for 2 laps. Joanie has also improved a lot with remembering to push off in streamline from the wall for both Freestyle and Backstroke! And finally, Joanie has come along way with learning her tumble turns and incorporating this into her swimming! Well done Joanie, keep up the awesome swimming 🏆 we are so proud of you!!

🌟🎉🏊‍♀️SWIMMER OF THE WEEK // MEINIE MULLER🏊‍♀️🌟🎉- Congratulations to Meinie for being awarded swimmer of the week! Meinie is in our Transformers class with our teacher Leilani! Meinie has been working really hard on getting her tumble turns nice and smooth from her flip to pushing off in streamline. Meinie has also been practicing backstroke with keeping arms straight with rotating shoulders for each arm. And finally Meinie has been working on 6 count freestyle with blowing bubbles to help improve her overall freestyle swim! We are so proud of you Meinie, keep up the awesome swimming!

🌟🎉🏊‍♀️SWIMMER OF THE WEEK // ADDISON HORROBIN 🏊‍♀️🌟🎉- Congratulations Addison we are so proud with how your swimming is coming along with your teacher Josie! Addison is in our Explorers level and has been working on her push offs into streamline with a strong kick. Addison has also been working on getting her arms out of the water without overreaching for a strong pull. Finally, Addison has been working on her confidence with back float and kick on back. Now being able to attempt to kick while floating on her back! We are so proud of you Addy! 👏 keep up the awesome swimming ⭐️

🌟🎉🏊‍♀️SWIMMER OF THE WEEK // SHAUNAK MISHRA 🏊‍♀️🌟🎉- We are excited to award Shaunak swimmer of the week who swims in our Legends level. Shaunak has been working hard with his swim teacher Mark to improve his swim stroke. Shaunak has been working on their endurance and attempting to swim consistently swim 80-100m Freestyle and Backstroke swim! Shaunak has also worked on his Breaststroke swim being able to glide for 3 seconds and maximise his kicks and arms. And finally, Shaunak has made great progress with his Butterfly swim with being able to get both arms out of the water ! Well done Shaunak, keep up the great swimming !!

🌟🎉🏊‍♀️SWIMMER OF THE WEEK // CHARLIE WILLIAMS 🏊‍♀️🌟🎉- Congratulations to Charlie who is our swimmer of the week, we are so proud of how far Charlie has come in her Crabs class with Jack 🦀 Charlie has been working really hard on getting her technique right and especially her kick. Charlie can now do a strong kick for her streamline on her front, back kick and rotations. Charlie has also been working on her arm circles and ensuring she is pushing off in Streamline with opposite arms and having them straight. And finally Charlie has been working on her coordination for freestyle and ensuring she is blowing bubbles before breathing! We are so proud of Charlie and how far she has come! Keep up the great work.

🌟🎉🏊‍♀️SWIMMER OF THE WEEK // NEDA NASRI 🏊‍♀️🌟🎉- Congratulations to Neda from our Saturday classes with Liam. Neda has been working on her confidence and being able to attempt no board swimming by herself and has become more confident with doing her swimming exercises on board!! Neda has also been attempting her starfish and with the teacher doing less assistance. And finally it is so awesome to see how far Neda has come with her safety jumps to the teacher being able to attempt to push in by herself ! Well done Neda! Keep up the awesome swimming 🤩

Get ready for a splash of fun and competition at our upcoming swim race on June 19th at Botany! Whether you're diving into the world of swimming or you're part of our development squads, this event promises an exhilarating experience in a safe, inclusive environment.

Location: Botany
Our dedicated volunteer swim teachers will be there every stroke of the way, ensuring that all participants have a fantastic time while supporting a great cause. All entry fees will be directed towards raising funds for Starships.

Who Can Compete:
Swimmers from our Pirates are encouraged to dive in and showcase their skills. ne!

How to Participate:

Alternatively, talk to one of our friendly shift leaders or your swim coach to explore the different events available for your child. 🌟🎉🏊‍♀️SWIMMER OF THE WEEK // LAYLA COLEMAN 🏊‍♀️🌟🎉- Every week Layla is ready to do something better than the week before for example like from not being able to swim by herself with boards to attempting to swim by herself. Layla also wasn’t super keen to do her back float and this week Layla was asked if she wanted to try it and she said yes and she did it!! And finally, Layla always comes in with a “Can do” attitude and is eager to give new swimming a go!! Well done Layla, your teacher Makayla is so proud of you 👏

🙌🎉SWIMMER OF THE WEEK // HUDSON MILNER 🏊‍♂️🙌🎉 - Hudson has been working extremely hard with his glide and can now glide for 5 seconds with his streamline. He has also been working hard on his kick with working on small fast kicks rather than big kicks. Hudson has been improving coordinating his arms and kicks together and is now managing to get the propulsion to swim the whole length of explorers. Finally, he has also been working hard on holding his starfish by himself and is now able to get into and hold his starfish for 4 seconds by himself. Well done Hudson! We are so proud of you🤩

🙌🎉SWIMMER OF THE WEEK // CASSIE OCONNOR 🏊‍♂️🙌🎉 - This week, we're celebrating a special milestone for Cassie O’Connor, who is in our Legends class every Saturday! Cassie's journey in swimming is nothing short of remarkable, having embarked on this path with us back in 2016, starting from our baby's class. One of Cassie's major focuses has been mastering her breaststroke technique, aiming to optimize her glide from her kick. It's been truly inspiring to witness her progress in this area, as well as her dedication to refining her freestyle stroke. From learning to complete even a few laps to now effortlessly swimming the entire 8-10 laps, complete with tumbles at both ends, Cassie's growth as a swimmer has been nothing short of impressive. We couldn't be prouder of Cassie and all that she has accomplished. Her journey serves as a testament to the power of persistence, hard work, and a passion for improvement. Cassie, your dedication inspires us all, and we're honored to have been a part of your swimming journey. Here's to many more milestones and successes ahead!

🙌🎉SWIMMER OF THE WEEK // MADISON PAYNE 🏊‍♂️🙌🎉 - 🎉🏊‍♀️ We're thrilled to announce Madison as our swimmer of the week! 🎉🏊‍♀️ Madison's journey in the explorers level has been nothing short of inspiring. Overcoming initial nerves, Madison has shown tremendous courage and determination. Under the guidance of Nue-Dantri, she has not only gained confidence but also honed her swimming technique. From mastering arm movements to keeping her focus underwater, Madison's progress is remarkable. And let's not forget her brave attempts at floating on her back! Madison, your hard work and dedication are truly commendable. Keep making waves, Madison! We're incredibly proud of your achievements! 🌟

🙌🎉SWIMMER OF THE WEEK // ARAHLIYA FERNANDO🏊‍♂️🙌🎉 - Arahliya is in our Pirates class with our teacher Chris and has been working really hard to perfect her technique in her lessons. Arahliya has been working on her freestyle and ensuring she has a strong kick with a quick roll to breathe through exhaling through her nose. Arahliya also was introduced to backstroke and has been working on getting time for backstroke arms as well as ensuring she has a strong kick to make the full lap. And finally, Arahliya always tries her best in the class and never gives up, well done Arahliya, keep up the awesome swimming !! 🤩
