This weekend will be epic. There will be some good bible study together with the boys, mixed in with some mean feeds and hangouts.

Come along to be challenged physically and spiritually, have a blast, meet some new mates and connect with old ones.

Meet Sela! 🤩

"I grew up in a church-going family but I never really understood what God is like. Somewhere along the way, I started believing that I had to earn my way to Heaven. I was always seen smiling on the outside but I was actually burdened by the reality that I would never be good enough for God.

Luckily in my first year of university, a girl from Student Life approached me and explained how I could know God personally. At first I was closed off- I’d heard it all before! This time was different though. She helped me to understand God’s grace for the first time ever. Although I had lived in ways that meant I deserved to be separated from God forever, Jesus actually died to forgive me and showed his power by coming back to life. If I trusted and followed him, we could enjoy a lasting relationship together as a gift.

I didn’t have to earn his acceptance.

This was the most amazing news I had ever heard. Everything I knew finally made sense altogether. I felt so much freedom from that one conversation and I’m truly grateful that she cared enough to share this news with me."

Although this season of lockdown has been a shock, it -like everything else- is only a season that will also end. And regardless of how chaotic or strange this time is, God is in control.
Job 12:10 says, "In whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind?" God's hand!
Seasons of rest or seasons of busyness and stress never last forever; they come and go. We need to trust in the Lord, because change is a certainty in our life, but not in God's character.
Genesis 8:22 says "As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease."
So learn to lean on the Lord in every season of life! 🙌
