Our Asian Fusion restaurant is seeking an experienced and creative chef to lead our kitchen team. We specialize in blending the flavors and ingredients of various Asian cuisines to create unique and delicious dishes that are both visually appealing and flavorful. As the head chef, you will be responsible for designing menus, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring high-quality food production.

Responsibilities:

Develop new and exciting menu items that showcase the flavors and ingredients of various Asian cuisines
Plan and execute the preparation of all menu items to ensure consistency and quality
Manage kitchen staff, including training and supervising line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
Ensure that all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed
Collaborate with restaurant management on budgeting, purchasing, and inventory control
Monitor and control food and labor costs

Requirements:

*At least 5 years of experience as a head chef in a high-volume restaurant
*Thorough knowledge of various Asian cuisines and ingredients (Malaysian cuisine preferred)
*Strong leadership and management skills
*Ability to design and execute creative and visually appealing dishes
*Strong organizational and time-management skills
*Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
*Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
