Good morning Howick! We have some exciting new menu options for you this Saturday-
- Belgian waffles with spiced berry compote, caramelised banana, toasted walnut, vanilla maple and whipped coconut cream
- The Vegan Omlette with roasted cherry tomatoes and seared zucchini, walnut pesto, house made buckwheat toast and whipped vegan butter

Thanks to the support of whānau, an amazing team, friends and the Howick community, Vanilla will be reopening next Thursday, February 1st! We have only been closed for a couple weeks longer than scheduled but boy has a lot happened. We have missed all of our customers and as my 4 year old Zoe said, ‘I miss all the love at the shop’.
All your messages of support have been so heartwarming and to see that this venture that I have put everything into over the last 3 years is appreciated is one of the best feelings, and I hope you will all continue to support us.
We will be operating under reduced opening days of Tuesday to Saturday, 8am to 3pm. I hope to see you all there, where we will be back to business as usual!

Here are the roles we have available:
- Kitchen Production Assistant. Previous experience in a commercial kitchen is required. This is not an entry level role and the wage will match that. Must be able to follow a recipe and grab the bull by the horns and fill our cabinet with delicious food.
- Part time service superstar. Work with our dedicated, detail and customer focussed barista to provide an excellent level of service. An entry level position where initiative and an ability to anticipate needs will serve you well. Must be available to work on Saturdays.
