Hello, you beauty!! Now this is the way for me to get into my 2022 groove! Good swim to clear the mind and get ready for my week.
Swimming has been my main sport from the as young as I can remember. I just love how I can shut off from external stimuli and focus on my wellbeing.

Pool temperature was stunning, in fact the sun β˜€οΈ was so strong I ended up with an unwanted tan line πŸ€ͺ….. that I worked hard at over the holidays to get rid of πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

And just like that, folks…… It’s a wrap!

2021 has been challenging in so many ways but I’ve learnt a lot!

*Adaptability is possible, if we truly want it to work.

*Focus is hard at the best of times but with the phenomenal support I have received, I feel totally blessed πŸ€—

*Self doubt can hit you hard and quickly - being surrounded by strong & stable support sure aids this feeling. Don’t give up on your dreams. They are waiting for you!

*Financial loss & pressure has to be the all time biggest stress factor- remembering to save on a regular basis when possible sure came in to its own. The Government subsidy did help, so thank you!

*Every person has their own journey and they are all equally as important - I feel blessed that patients and friends have felt comfortable with opening up and reaching out to me. Likewise, they have been there for me to πŸ’›

*Life is ridiculously short and precious - being away from my family has taken its toll on me, especially this year. Thank goodness that technology allows us to communicate so effectively. I will get to squeeze my folks next year πŸ€—

*Stop & See - I have taken many a walk, bike ride over the past year and it’s amazing how much more of life we see when we slow our pace. I’m so thankful for the beauty that surrounds me. New Zealand πŸ‡³πŸ‡Ώ is stunning!

*Make the most of life - I wasn’t happy, so I dug deep and worked hard to change it! I’ve learnt a lot about who I am and what is important to me & my family. Work does make me tick but finding a healthy balance is so important. Creating a non clinic day during the week helps me recharge and refocus. πŸ’›

Thank you to all for your support this past year. It’s been an absolute pleasure helping you on your journey to recovery. For those that are still on this journey, bring on 2022! πŸ’₯ πŸ’ͺ🏽

- Peace begins with a smile 😊 ✌🏻

Happy Christmas πŸŽ„ one & all.

COVID-19 Protection Framework 30/11/2021

Dear Patients,

Where to start?!?! Covid19 and its forever changing variants, sure is keeping life challenging! I, for one am continuously trying to work out, what I can and can't do and is line with what my Governing Body is advising.

As many of you are aware we move to the new Covid19 Protection Framework as 23:59 Thursday 2nd December, so as of Monday 6th December I will be implementing the new clinic protocols and ensuring that I adhere to the Ministry of Health's rulings.

ORANGE is the colour, as of Friday - this does bring a smile to my face, as I will be able to stay open but also carries one of utter sadness and frustration. I will only be able to treat patients that have been double vaccinated and hold a valid Vaccine Pass (QR code). I would like to express very clearly that this NOT my decision and one that I am not happy about but if you are unvaccinated or do not hold a Vaccine Pass then I will not be able to treat you at this stage.

I have added a link below, which will offer guidance to what the "traffic light" colours represent.

https://covid19.govt.nz/traffic-lights/covid-19-protection-framework/

As we move with this new framework, I will send out updates relating to my clinic operations. If you have any questions please do contact me.

Remember, if you are feeling unwell or have been to any of the places of interest within 14days of when they are officially listed, then please contact me to discuss your appointment.

Continued excellent hygiene practice will remain in place and if you can bring a clean large towel and have a shower prior to your appointment, this would be appreciated. Face masks must be worn into the clinic but may be removed once in the treatment room. The usual signing in at reception will remain in place.

Thanking you all from the bottom of my heart for all your continued support.
Please keep well and stay kind to yourself and others.

Carrie x

5. All cancelled patients will be given priority availability for treatment.

6. If you feel unwell, please stay at home and book a test.

7. Have you booked your vaccine?

8. Stay kind to yourself & others πŸ’™
