Wow, it's been two amazing years already! We are beyond grateful for everyone who has danced their way through our doors—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. A special shoutout to our incredible current students who show up each week with enthusiasm and joy, and their families who work hard to make dance in their lives possible! It’s the best time hanging out with you, and it’s the biggest honor to be part of your dance journey. Here’s to many more years of dancing together! 💃🕺

♥‿♥ Dancer of the week cards ♥‿♥

🤩If your dancer is in our school aged classes they may have come home and have spoken about our 'Dancer of the week' cards!
👑Each week these will be given out to one or two dancers in the class and that is an entry into our end of term prize box! 🤸
🌟These cards are designed to motivate our dancers to practice at home each week and focus in their class on their recital choreography.
Our wonderful prize box will be at the studio on the last week of term and it is filled with sensory toys and fidgets! 🪀🧸

🫶Sometimes when you arrive to collect your dancer, you may observe us engaging in the freeze dance activity during our classes. ❄️
While the freeze dance serves as a form of reward for attentiveness and diligence throughout the lesson, it also offers numerous benefits to our dancers.

For instance, the freeze dance aids in enhancing listening skills and self-regulation, both vital aspects that contribute to fostering an ideal learning atmosphere. 🤸
Furthermore, this activity facilitates dancers in exploring the intricate ways in which their bodies can move.

Here are the answers to our recital clues! How many did you guess correctly? 🕵️‍♀️✨ We start learning our recital choreography this week—only 13 weeks (or 94 days, not that anyone's counting! 😉) until show day! Let's make it unforgettable! 💃🕺

🏓 last week we celebrated the Olympics at class. Each class had a different set of “Olympic challenges”. Some examples included blueys iconic game of keepy uppy with scarves 🧣 obstacle courses, pass it on steps and mirror imaging.

We had to also finish with the iconic 💃 French can can 💃

Hey everyone! 🌟

Do you have any uniform shirts from past dancers that are no longer in use? We’d love it if you could donate them to our studio! We're starting a second-hand uniform box to help out our dance community. 👯‍♀️👯‍♂️

And for our growing dancers, if you need to upsize your uniform shirt, bring in your old one! You can trade it in and get $10 off the price of a new shirt. 🩰💃

⭐️Sunday, 30th June 2024

🩵Please check your arrival times for your child's class - This is super important as we know no one likes to wait around! Your dancer will be taken backstage to do a quick warm up and run through before their section begins.
🩷 Make sure your uniform is correct. This includes hair in a tidy style with no fly aways and slicked back.
💜Have a look on google maps at where our performance is held. Once your there, head into the school and towards the field. You will find our sign out the front of the hall!
💙Don't forget to check out our Parent Appreciation Station this year which will be set up at the event. We encourage you to take a photo with your dancer in front of our photo wall before or after the event too! Its a day for celebrating and capturing special memories.

Detailed Showcase booklets with running orders, arrival times, ticket links have been given out in class at the beginning of the term. Please also check your emails for the details too. Remember, students must wear their studio uniform for the performance. If you haven’t got yours yet, please send me an email. See you there! 💃✨
