I have a weekend make up course coming up if you or know someone that maybe interested. This is to learn make up on others.
Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th October, 10am - 3-4pm both days, a certificate is issued on completion.
On the course you learn basic make up application, natural/wedding make up and soft smoky eyes.

Any Christchurch based make up artists keen to work in the VIP area at Electric Avenue Music Festival doing touch ups? You finish around 5-6pm so you have heaps of time to enjoy the festival. Message me if you are keen. It is such a fun day!

Last weekend I had the absolute pleasure of doing former student and now my beautiful friend’s make up for her wedding day. I was honoured when you asked me to be part of your special day. You looked and are so gorgeous you made my job super easy. Meeting your bridesmaids, your family and friends was so special, Harley and I left with hearts full of love. All the best on your new journey of wedded bliss, I can’t wait for the next chapter!

So very sad that this amazing event is not going ahead especially with it being the 20th anniversary and the last year for many involved. So much time and effort has gone into this, it’s heartbreaking to say the least. I’m so very proud of our Fashion Week family and I will miss not getting together for one last time and celebrating the wonderful world of New Zealand fashion but also the fabulous people that put their love, time and effort in behind the scenes that pull the event together. Sending big love to all that are involved and the to the people that were excited to attend.
I’m going to miss you very much!

Today’s announcement that all of New Zealand will move back into the Red Traffic light at midnight tonight has resulted in the cancellation of New Zealand Fashion Week. The 100 person limit within the Red Traffic Light setting means it is not viable for our designers to put on a show.

Dame Pieter Stewart, Managing Director and founder of NZFW says: “It’s incredibly disappointing for everyone involved that the event has been cancelled. Our designers have put in a huge amount of work, as have our partners, buyers, models, production teams and a number of other people. We respect the decision of the government to put the health and safety of all New Zealanders’ first.”
