Experiencing persistent brain fog and memory issues after COVID-19? 🧠

Some individuals face ongoing challenges like brain fog, attention and concentration difficulties, memory issues, and problems with decision-making and thinking after COVID-19 illness (or other viral illnesses). These can have a significant impact on daily life.

By undergoing a neuropsychological screening assessment, you can gain a clear understanding of your current cognitive functioning. This comprehensive assessment not only identifies attention, memory, and problem-solving difficulties but also addresses emotional aspects, such as frustration, low mood, and anxiety, which are common in Long COVID.
It's a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into your post-COVID cognitive health and come away with strategies to improve your day-to-day functioning.

Contact us for more information about our Long COVID assessments and to determine whether they are appropriate for you.

Do you have questions about Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE)?

Neuropsychological assessments play a vital role in understanding probable CTE, a brain disease caused by repeated head injuries.

These assessments help detect early signs of cognitive and behavioural changes, guiding interventions to help people find options for managing their symptoms. Early detection can significantly improve outcomes and quality of life for those affected.

Contact us to learn more about CTE or to discuss getting an assessment.

Concerned about memory?

Early signs of cognitive decline, like those seen in Alzheimer’s Disease, can be identified through neuropsychological assessments. These tests reveal individual strengths and weaknesses and track changes over time, aiding in memory evaluation.

A Memory Clinic assessment, often recommended after discussing memory changes with your GP, can provide insights and recommendations for advanced care planning.

Reach out to us to explore assessment options today.

NeuroHealth NeuroHealth offers a range of neuropsychology assessments, including cognitive evaluation following traumatic brain injury and concussion, assessing for dementia and memory loss, and after illness (e.g., Long COVID, hypoxia, or heart attack) and stroke.

How did we design our logo?
Reflecting on a decade of vision, our collaboration with White Rabbit in 2023 crafted a logo embodying growth, improvement, and well-being. 🌱
The brain intertwined with budding flora signifies new growth post-brain injury, a vision we've nurtured for years. 🌿 Inspired by Canterbury's landscapes, the serene palette mirrors our commitment to resilience and wellness.

Another of our most common questions here at NeuroHealth is: who benefits from a neuropsychological assessment? 🧐

Well, the answer is that many individuals can!

We see clients from the age of 16 through to older adults (90+ years).
The types of injury or illness causing cognitive (thinking) problems tend to change across the lifespan. An assessment offers a comprehensive understanding of your cognitive abilities, paving the way for effective rehabilitation after illness or injury, facilitating a return to work, or managing age-related declines.
