If you saw one or more of my shows, you may have heard me tell a story about a boy who wanted to be a pirate, so bad that he returned bottles to the recycling depot and saved every dollar that was tucked into a birthday card and tucked it all away into a small treasure chest, never spending a dime. I won't tell the story here, but if I am ever able to get out on the road again I will tell it once more.
In short, he sailed the sea for a while in a wee pirate ship but the desire to hold a sword over took his need to feel the wind in his sails and the dream drifted to the land of Olympia.
Fynn is part of a young Canadian team that has been working really hard over the past few years to give themselves a shot at the Paris Olympics. They are starting the final qualifying season, holding down the zonal spot for the Americas, but that is where the real fight begins. There are many World Cups and Grand Prixs to go before Paris.
