Hi all,

As you are very likely aware, the whole of New Zealand is moving to the traffic light system at 11:59pm on Thursday 2 December 2021. It has been announced that we in Christchurch will be moving into the ‘Orange’ level under this new system.

Under the Orange traffic light level, close-proximity businesses (like ours) cannot open if they choose not to follow Vaccine Pass requirements. LB&Co. has chosen to remain open for business, which means that as of this Friday, only fully vaccinated people will be able to gain access to our services.

So please note that from Friday onwards, the presentation of a vaccine certificate will be absolutely mandatory for your entry into our cafe , regardless of whether you already have a booking eith with us or not.

If you come and see us for a coffee, brunch lunch or anything else, please make sure you have a copy of your vaccine passport ready to show us as you enter the cafe. We only need to sight your passport once, but please bear with us if we ask to see it more than once, as we are still in the process of updating our records to reflect our understanding of individuals’ vaccination statuses.
