After nearly seven incredible years of serving you, we have made the bittersweet decision to close the doors of Vic Road Kitchen. It has been a privilege to be a part of the community – through highs of cooking for so many special occasions - birthdays, anniversaries, reunions and other special moments, to the lows of navigating a global pandemic and recession. The great atmosphere that these special events created as well as your regular patronage has always been a highlight for us and our staff.
While we are very sad to close Vic Kitchen, we are immensely proud of what we’ve built. We have forged great relationships with our customers, many who are now personal friends and have frequented from the very beginning, watching our family grow to include Sophia and Jack. We have been supported over the years by our amazing staff and suppliers who have been like family, and we couldn’t have done it without them.
As we look forward to focusing on our family and other hospitality ventures, we will take away from Vic Road Kitchen warm memories and gratitude for your unwavering support.

We have some great new concepts and developments that we want to explore with Vic Road Wine Bar & Cellar and The Kestrel and some of Vic Road Kitchen’s old favourite dishes may make an appearance at our other establishments.
Vic Road Kitchen will be open for the next two weeks – our last service will be on Saturday 21st September and we would love to see you one last time.

We do ask, that if you are planning to dine in the next two weeks, that you please book a table. We anticipate being busy and want to be sure to accommodate you. It’s First Thursdays today! We have jumped on board to support this fantastic initiative by designing this delicious Black Forest Manhattan to coincide with the charcoal drawing workshop - hosted by Dr Richard Coldicutt. Come and support First Thursdays in Devonport!

On tonight! Fresh fish and oysters in this morning and on your plate tonight. Plus we only use sustainable fish … win win!

Tonight’s choice is:
Eggplant caponata with ricotta salata and basil (vege)
Cockles, chilli, garlic, lemon and rocket
Cacio e pepe with pecorino, Parmesan and black pepper (vege)
Carbonara with cured pork, egg and parmesan and lastly a puttanesca with tomatoes, olives, anchovy and caper. All served with our home made fresh pasta.

Happy Thursday. Drop in tonight to sample some special $12 cocktails plus drinks specials on Prosecco and Rose AND half price tiramisu. Sounds like a Thursday night to me!

We have fresh flounder in tonight.

Whole yellow belly flounder with lemon caper butter and a glass of chilled white wine (or Peroni) for $35.

Add a fresh side salad (or some cheeky truffle potatoes) and you have Wednesday night dinner sorted!

Sorry guys, we will be unable to open the deli this week due to an unfortunate accident involving a glass door and an unremorseful 3 year old.
