After a bit of thought, I have decided that I will no longer be able to continue as a SeneGence Distributor.
With an already busy life of study, mahi and just life in general, I have to put my own wellness first and it pains me, that I have not been able to give my all to this amazing business venture.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with this beautiful company and sharing my journey over the last 2 and half years with you all.
I will keep this page active for a short period of time but if you wish to discover your local SeneGence Distributor, please let me know and I'll put you in contact with one of our team.

30 DAYS NO BREAD!! ๐ฅฐ๐คฉ๐
Celebrating with a chicken stir fry...oh my peppermint cuppa ๐
Let me tell yah...it was easier as time went by. Initially I thought this would be a breeze ๐๐คฃ๐ BUT yeah nah! Not the case and replacing the bread was definitely a no go after seeing my packed lunches with the crackers. So I got rid of those too and went to wraps BUT only one or two a week, maybe.
This month, we decided - Yes, WE! My darling, Hamish and I along with no bread, will be eliminating Take Aways this month. Includes brought lunches and coffee dates...I'll just have to take my own sorry ladies ๐๐คฃ๐. I did include other food types BUT there's always next month ๐ plus slow and steady wins the race ๐คฉ๐คฉ๐คฉ.

Beginning of Day 22!
3 weeks done so far and only a week to go ๐๐ฅฐ. Never thought I'd make it but once I stopped thinking about eating bread with everything, I just ended up not worrying so much & carried making smaller improvements on my eating habits.
Ended up making these bad boys tonight for dinner and to test them out for my lunches as well - We had bacon and egg, scrambled egg and bacon AND Egg, silverbeet and fresh garlic....Gotta say I loved the silverbeet and garlic the most ๐๐๐Luckily my darling loves them too...Will keep these on the menu ๐๐

It's been quite the mish let me tell you ๐๐คฃ and even Hamish gave me a nice reminder when I brought some date scones...soooo I broke them up and gave them to the birds ๐. Thank you my love.
I'm slowly getting back into my workouts - Tuesday to Friday and then rest for 3 days but I noticed the first big change yesterday. I wasn't so lethargic and had plenty of energy even after a couple hours rest. Not so bloated but need something other than wraps or crackers to substitute the bread...probably should get rid of the substitute idea...cos yeah ๐ค๐
๐ I don't really want to replace it ๐ค. Stay tuned ๐

Into Day 8 and it's getting easier. There are so many other delicious recipes and kai out there where we don't need paraoa.
Still struggling with my parakuihi, especially if I'm having porridge. To break the habit, I've changed where I make my breakfast i.e. Away from the toaster and it seems to help a bit more.
The pics are of last nights savoury mince and I tried to include a heck load more veggies and protein instead if meat and today's packed lunch. It's much smaller than last week as I'm not even eating all the contents. Also a change of parakuihi...having greek yoghurt and 4 x chopped up tinned peaches.

Day 6 All Done! Nearly finished my first week and a couple more changes to make is my substitute - Thin Rice Cakes - I know they're not as bad a bread but they should also be eaten minimally. So...thats what I'll be doing next week. Best be getting some celery & carrot sticks and some hummus ๐๐๐.
I've noticed that I'm a snack person and need to find alternatives OR prep my meals again so I just have to re-heat them....YEAH! That's what I'll do ๐๐๐
Roast chickens dinner last night was delicious but a bit too much.
DAY 5 COMPLETE! ๐ A bit of porridge for parakuihi and some Manuka smoked pork ribs at mahi...SOOOO effin delicious ๐๐
I may have slipped up BUT I didn't eat it ๐. So I brought a fresh baked cheese and bacon loaf (it's only $1.99 from Pakkies) BUT realized when I got home that I can't enjoy a warm slice ๐

Day 6 all packed up and ready to go for my shift & probably enjoy a roast dinner at mahi BUT we'll see ๐๐๐
DAY 4 SUCCESSFULLY DONE ๐๐!! And heading into Day 5 with my below kai. Thankfully no classes tomorrow but still need to do some revision, especially with a coupley assignments and an exam due in a couple weeks.

Enjoyed a brew of lemon, ginger and honey today, just because I didn't want to attract anyone else's sicknesses hehe.
Had a great day at kura. Didn't really eat all my lunch box kai because it just doesn't fit so I'll save it for the next shift.
Had another 45min circuit training today and it was upper body day. Want to research more about the different types of exercise you can do for the upper body.

Off to training, then have parakuihi (Brekkie) & some study time before our 10:30 class.

Day Two! All done and dusted.
Didn't eat all my kai today, so I'll take it tomorrow. Had vegetable egg foo yong tonight in a bed of rice...oh and then a lite drizzle of sweet soy sauce. A hot cuppa tea with a coupley digestives to help me with my night time revision.
Tomorrow I get to sleep in BUT I'm thinking I may continue with this routine to start with to rebuild my strength and healthier eating habits.
Plus I'll get to fit in a coupley hours of study as well

Bags all packed for training and placement tomorrow. Oh shoot! Gotta take my meds...whoopsie! Better do that before I go to bed.

I have noticed that I have been slipping with my meals and bread has made is back in the menu & its taking up too much space in my puku SO it's time to take back the controls for my eating.
I'll be keeping a food diary & a few pics as well cos that visual keeps be accountable and shows me where other improvements are needed.
