Aermeda pH balanced solid shampoo bars are Not soap. There is no transition period required - with our residue-free formulas you’ll have great hair after your first wash!

Our ropes are made from 100% recycled cotton and have Oeko-Tex certification. Our packaging is plastic free and cut/printed locally in Otago.

We have taken the time to master the art of milk soap.

Milk is just one ingredient but as the only soaps we create are milk, it is an important one!

- after hand milking, the milk is strained and snap frozen in ice cube size (read why in our journal).
- New Zealand does not specify a minimum volume of milk in a ‘milk’ soap so, while an extreme example, one teaspoon of milk could earn a bar the title milk soap! Aermeda replaces ALL water with milk.

Not all milk soaps are equal - Aermeda soaps are 100% milk and you will notice the difference.

What gives Aermeda soaps their colour? We choose to work with natural clays and plants for our colour palette and exfoliants.

Our winter warmer - Aermeda goat milk wild kelp and pumice soap with activated charcoal.

With its warm sweet spicy essential oils blend, this exfoliating soap is coloured naturally by Activated charcoal.

Adding just a little texture, along with the wild sea kelp and pumice, the activated charcoal gently exfoliates and draws impurities, clearing pores to leave your skin more balanced and smooth

Our Triple Butter French Green Clay bar features Cocoa butter, Kokum butter & Shea butter. Along with other plant oils, a formula that ensures a creamy, rich lather giving a gentle moisturising cleanse.

A blend of essential oils result in a crisp, sharp ‘green’ aroma.

As much as we love our packaging - we appreciate that our sometimes it isn’t necessary.

Shower essentials - sustainable luxury, designed for function.

Our shampoo and conditioner bars are all on ropes! The functional design of our haircare range is two fold - ropes are handy to hold and handy to hang in the shower so bars stay well drained between uses.

Our ropes are 100% cotton made form recycled threads - no water, toxic chemicals or dyes are used in their production (Oeko-Tex cert). Recycled cotton textiles is shredded to a dust and then mixed into specific portions to make the desired shade. The fibres are then spun into the tread the rope is made of.

Aermeda is proud to introduce our new hair care collection. Shampoo in a modern form that doesn’t compromise the planet.

As with all we do, this collection has been created thoughtfully - guided by the principles of green science, design, performance and sustainability.

Gentle enough for the whole family we have four pH balanced shampoos and 4 conditioning bars - all free from soap, palm oil, sulphates, silicones, paragons, phthalates and, synthetic colours and fragrances.
