Perfect day for a bowl of hot creamy seafood chowder ( gluten free) 🥰 serving our fabulous chowder every Friday, open 9am till 3pm. If you are wanting a takeaway please allow time, our chowder is not a soup that is just heated, each bowl is made individually with seafood added separately ( so if there is a seafood you don’t like let us know and we will leave it out). GF bread also available.

As the days get cooler, we've brought soup back to the menu! Today's offering is creamy tomato soup, served with a mini cheese scone or garlic bread. Next up: leek and potato soup! …also available as a takeaway.

We have an indulgent wee treat for you in our cabinet today… Plum Lamingtons! Gluten Free with fresh cream 😍

You could be forgiven for thinking we have fast forward into Autumn today , but hey make the most of it! go out walking, get in the garden and then eat all the comfort food! …I have just taken this very moist, spicy pear and ginger cake out of the oven ( I would recommend it with lots of whipped cream 🤤) …we also have baked potatoes on the menu today with cheese and lashings of sour cream ( you can also add spicy beans and salad) have an amazing day 🍁 Robyne x

It’s finally happening! This Saturday the shared path from St Leonards to Port Chalmers will be open!

The full trail from Port Chalmers to beyond Portobello will be known as Te Aka Ōtākou (The Otago Vine), referring to the winding path of the trail and the harbour as the central waterway to cling to. The northern or State Highway 88 trail will be known as Te Ara Moana (The Ocean Path), while the eastern or Otago Peninsula trail is Te Awa Ōtākou (The Ocean River).

Te Ara Moana refers to the direction of the tide as it flows out of the harbour towards the ocean.

So on a recent buying trip Allan thought I was a little nuts buying these two beauties, I love them! and I just know that someone out there really wants ( even if they don’t know it yet) a 1 metre high bronze pink flamingo! …come on prove him wrong! 😝

Finally we have stone basins back in stock! We also have a couple of petrified wood basins which are gorgeous 🥰
