This weekend Moana Pool will host the South Island Intermediate Water Polo Competition.
It will be a busy time with up to 400 people attending between Friday 8 November to Sunday 10 November.
The dive/Lap pool will be unavailable to the public over these times:
👉Friday 8 November – 1pm – 8pm
👉Saturday 9 November - 9am – 7pm
👉Sunday 10 November – 8am – 4.30pm
Aqua Sport is cancelled on Sunday 10 November, and aqua jogging will be in the old dive pool during the above times.
Just Swim lessons are unaffected but parking might be tricky so allow plenty of time to arrive.

Calling Moana Gym members!

Set your alarms, we have free HIIT classes starting Wednesday 30 October at 6am.

What’s HIIT? High Intensity Interval Training - high intensity bursts of work followed by a quick recovery period. You’ll build your fitness while improving strength, building muscle and burning calories.

Suitable for all fitness levels, these 30-minute sessions will get your day off on the right foot. Or the left one, your choice!

These classes will run for six weeks and are free for Moana Gym members.

⚠️ There are no Just Swim lessons on Monday 28 October

Regular visitors to Moana Pool may have noticed that our contractors have finished working on the Stuart St wall.
Recent work included replacing the original concrete block wall, which enabled us to brighten up the area with colourful tiles, designed by our mana whenua partners Aukaha.
We would like to thank all our customers for their patience during the works. Your understanding is very much appreciated.

With the state of emergency now lifted, Moana Pool, Te Puna o Whakaehu and St Clair Salt Water Pool will reopen tomorrow (Mon 7 Oct).
We will return to normal Mon-Fri opening hours for each respective Pool.
Unfortunately, Port Chalmers will remain closed tomorrow.

Due to the adverse weather in the region, all Dunedin Pools (Moana Pool, Te Puna o Whakaehu, Port Chalmers Pool and St Clair Salt Water Pool) are closed today (Friday 4 October).

If blue skies and hot summer days seem a long way away, just remember that St Clair Hot Salt Water Pool reopens for the summer season on Tuesday, 1 October ☀️🏊
