Firstly, NGĀ MIHI NUI KI A KOUTOU KATOA!

A massive thanks to all of you for supporting us!

We've been open for 8 weeks today and are stoked with the awhi | support you have shown us. We're still finding our feet a bit, but hopefully getting better every day.

He pānui - we will be closed Christmas day, but back at it from the 26th. Things are gonna be a bit cray cray with the thousands of manuhiri coming to Tūranga.. we'll do our best to keep on top of it!

Have the most epic Christmas everyone! Enjoy good company, each other's presence, some kai and hopefully some good weather. Remember it is the season for whanaungatanga!

Most importantly, stay safe and keep an eye out for each other, especially on the roads and in or on the water!

This afternoon, we need to come together as a team for a bit of a wānanga, a bit of whānaungatanga, our get ready for the summer season.

We haven't had too many brave the cold and wind today, but we need to clear our cabinet food so we can start fresh tomorrow.

In the wee hours this morning, we opened our doors and welcomed our first manuhiri! We kept it on the down low so we can work through our systems and recipes.. but now we want to let you know!

So nau mai, haere mai ki The Kiosk! We'll be waiting here to offer you beachside burgers, salads, filled baguettes, sweet treats, fresh fruit ice creams, fresh fish n chips, kawakawa poutine, onion rings, fries and of course, delicious Havana coffee.

We open at 6.30am, 7 days a week and trade through to 8pm.

So when you get a chance and want to check the new Midway Surf Rescue Community Hub, come down for a kōrero and kāwhe, a bite to eat and soak in the amazing surrounds of Moananui ā Kiwa me Tūranganui ā Kiwa.
