| The Podium |
We specialise in making ceramic tableware for fine dining restaurants across New Zealand.
These podiums are part of the dining experience on the degustation menu at - which was also the very first restaurant we had the pleasure of collaborating with!
It all starts with the clay - from creation to kiln, each piece tells a story of the natural beauty in the compounds beneath.
A selection of pieces available in The Larder at
| A trio of bud vases |
We love to experiment with different finishes – smooth and glossy, a matte satin or the raw texture of the clay. These vases are as interesting as the pieces you’ll find to fill them!

Always a delight to see my mugs find their new home. Thank you for the beautiful photo!
Happy International Coffee Day!

Introducing Mr Potter’s new studio assistant, Miss Otter. She’s still got a little while before she gains her P plate.
Planter freshly trimmed and ready for firing.
2 of my joys in one photo. I love plants and the more I buy, the more plant pots I have to make! I would call that a double win.
My take on the classic flat white café mug, except this one is a bit more exciting with the raw clay exposed at the bottom.
This mug has undergone an 8 hour gas firing, to transform it from a white powder to this beautiful speckled egg look.
I accidentally glaze this one in the wrong glaze. But turned out better than I could imagine. :)
Lockdown = time to throw more of these planters. Love how this one turned out. Now which plant to plant in it? 🤔
Another bud vase form I have been working on. This time changing the clay and glaze colours. This one here really gets that scorched earth look around the base with the surface crack that runs around it.
